Jay Knight is a conman! I am reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. He was to repair my washing machine. Said machine is down, and I needed to pay upfront, so I mailed him $600 to repair it. decided not to repair it for $600.00, so I decided to just replace it for $600.00. He did not do a repair! I told him I would give him $20,000 to install my new washer. he agreed.    He then told me I agreed to give him $200 just for taking some parts back! Why would I give him $200 to get my money back on parts just to turn around and give him $200 for returning brand new parts that I never even laid eyes on or used? He did not do the repair. then an additional $200 for installation on my new washer that just needed to be plugged up! also an $80 service fee that he originally told me would go into the service that I never received for $600 and an additional 30% fee on the parts that he supposedly returned. said the parts were 400. 30% of the amount of 130 He unplugged the hose on the old washer, but the water was not completely turned off. He returned a few days later to install the new one. Well, since the water was not completely turned off, it leaked for days, draining into the basement ceiling where the ceiling fell in! Also, the carpet is ruined. Jay plugged in my new washer! will not refund me the money he owes me! He charged me $600 to plug in my new washer, and he ruined the basement. told me he would refund me some money. As per our agreement, it would be 270 and should be 0 given the damage he caused to my house. He is now saying i need to take 80 out of that so it would be 190  i still have not received a penny from him. Instead, I am receiving inappropriate texts from him, saying I am projecting a small transaction onto your bigger business occurrences! First of all, it is $600 that is not a small transaction for someone to steal from you.  Second, my business is none of his business or has nothing to do with the fact of this matter that he ripped me off!  also caused water damage to my home. He told me he would give me a refund and lied, saying my Zelle does not work. also saying he was in pain and asking me for pain pills! for his sciatica! How unprofessional and inappropriate! started arguing with me at my home. in front of my 6-year-old child. because he would not give me my money back. said I would know when it got there! It's scary to have a stranger argue with you in your home. I'm a single mother. Jay completely took advantage of this situation. Not only did he rip me off and steal from me, He caused severe damage to my home! I will be taking him to court!

I would give him more than 5 stars, he stayed the project until finished he never gave up and he fixed it even though he got bad parts from the factory.

I hired two pros through this platform to fix a front-loading GE washing machine. Although both had the machine back and operating after the service, it only lasted a day. The second pro ordered a part to replace, but when the machine gave out, neither the first pro nor the second one wanted to do anything for me. $600 later in repairs I am purchasing a new washer to avoid paying for any more repairs that are not lasting. I suggest a pro should look at the issue and tell me the possible issues, the estimated cost to repair or replace, including parts, and if they guarantee their work. That said, I would have rather purchased a new machine when it first needed repairs on October 8th rather than a month later, which had been a huge inconvenience for my household.

The technician never made the 1st appointment that was scheduled, stating he was overbooked. Then he was 2 hours late to the second appointment. Before he could even took a look at my refrigerator, he said I had to pay the service fee. When I paid the fee, and after doing the diagnostic, stating it needed freon. At a charge of 25 dollars an once. Then charged me an extra fee to clean the compressor area. It worked for about 4 days, then I woke up to a flooded kitchen. I called the same day, and he told me he would not be able to make it until the next day. When he finally arrived, I was told it was another part of the unit that needed repair. That would have been an extra charge for the part, then he tells me (I am sorry to say, but this box is headed for the junk yard.) What a rip off. In my opinion, he knew that the refrigerator was done, but he husled the money out of me anyway. You need to do a better job of vetting these companies. I should have seen the red flag when I could not pay the service fee with a credit card. He said the credit card machine was down. The oldest trick in the book.. I could have just put that money to a new appliance. Now I am out $500.00.

I requested referrals at about 1 PM. They were at my house by 2:15, went out and picked up the necessary part and had my Samsung gas oven up and running by 4:30 the same afternoon! You can't do much better than that!

Same day service! I put my dryer service request into Angi at 5:00pm on a Wednesday night, and Jay came out an hour later to diagnose the problem. He came back the next morning and fixed it w/in 30 minutes. Would definitely hire again.

Jay was very professional and knowledgeable. I initially called him for a second opinion after another company tried to sale me on replacing my fridge. He was able to diagnose the problem and saved me moneyâ ¦needless to say I will be keeping him on speed dial!
