I received estimates for a roof replacement in South Bend from 4 different companies. Professional Roofing Solutions promptly provided an estimate, but it was the most expensive bid (by far) of the four. I signed a contract with another company.

David call right away once I posted on HomeAdvisor. When he called he was very courteous and professional. He arrived promptly to give me the estimate. He explained everything. And they were able to get my repairs done the next day. Two men arrived for the repair. They were quick and efficient. Every repair was explained to me to my satisfaction. He even took time to explain then condition of the rest of the roof. I was extremely pleased and will be calling them to do the entire roof replacement when itâ s time.

Remove no longer used chimneys and install a new asphalt roof in the section of the house. The crew did an excellent job.

Our roofing crew worked long hours doing quality work, This companyâ s owner is great to work with, has a large crew so the new roof is done quickly preparing the area first to protect your home and landscaping, then cleaning up afterward so your yard looks like it did before they arrived. I was very happy with their work.

I really wanted to love everything about this experience, especially after having a tree fall and causing so much damage. At first, Brandon (Operations Manager) seemed nice enough and we had no reason not to trust his intentions. He contracts out all the work, so no one from Professional Roofing Solutions did any of the work. My first inner check was when he had painters come BEFORE the roofers did their job. I questioned it and he said it was fine. Then the roofers came. I will concur that the job was more involved than originally thought, but that is NO EXCUSE to further damage our siding or new paint job, not to mention the side gutters. They only protected the front of our house, not the sides or back. The roofing crew was drinking beer on our property after working for the day. We are still picking up nails and shingles debris around the house. Painters had to come out and repaint many scratches and gouges. Now comes the hardest part for me. Brandon pursues the insurance company like a bulldog (which could be a good thing), but he holds it over your head when it comes to the discussion of money and approved work. He pursued the insurance to add more and more things, which also means the bill for their work gets higher. Some of the pursuing was necessary since there were things the adjuster could not have seen on top of the roof or under the shingles. We agreed to pay for certain repairs (not on the roof) so that the money from the insurance would go towards the increased needs of the roof repairs. We already paid the initial tree removal (not through this company) prior to having met Brandon, but for some reason, he had it listed on his invoice. When I questioned him about this and other things based on the insurance claim and the money allotted for those repairs, his response was always to the extent of how much extra work he did to get the insurance to pay more and we got a better roof than what the insurance company would have paid for, got 2 new gutters (that the roofers damaged), etc...Just an FYI, the insurance adjuster, and her supervisor stated that the shingles used by PRS are not that much more in cost than what the insurance was paying for. We ended up paying money out of pocket and I can only conclude that it was the tree removal service (which was already paid for) and was added back in by PRS (what we paid PRS out of pocket on top of the insurance claim checks happened to be the exact amount of the actual tree removal service that was done before Brandon got involved). You could essentially say that it was billed twice, once by the company who actually did the work (and got paid from the 1st insurance check) and a 2nd time on the invoice provided by Brandon. He was very unprofessional, he may not think so because of ALL the extra work he did not have to do for us (which we never asked for or expected). He also would tell me how there was going to be a hold on company vehicles because the job had been completed for a certain period of time and everybody was wanting their money to pay off debt and there will be attorneys involved and more out of pocket expenses from them if they did not get the payments from the insurance checks, that his bosses were breathing down his neck, etc....things that NO contractor should be telling a client/customer. When asked for specific owner contact names and the sub-contractor roofing company, he had a really hard time disclosing the names of these bosses or the name of the contractor who actually did the roofing job. We finally met one of the owners (Mark) only because Brandon could not pick up the last 2 insurance checks. We still do not know who did the roofing work. There are so many more little things I could add, but I will not since I think anyone who reads this review will understand what I have said here. I am not disgruntled, I wanted so much to be a positive experience and make.

The roofing crew carefully reroofed our home and again carefully cleaned up afterwards. We did experience some communication difficulties with the installation times and delivered tumpster.

Did a great job in just 2 days, even though they didn't know at the beginning they would have to replace all the decking.

PRS responded fast to my initial phone call, discussed options, and replaced my roof in one day with a high quality roofing system. My roof now looks amazing and no more leaks.

David Miller is outstanding for keeping in touch with me through the roofing project I always knew what was going on I would hire them again a very honest company and very good workers that do a outstanding job on your new roof I am a very pleased customer

They cleaned up so well after, you wouldnâ  t have known they were ever there! I couldnâ  t be more pleased with the job they did in one day. Iâ  m not commenting on value, They are still negotiating price with insurance.

They were fast, thorough and very good at adjusting to the vagaries of a house built from hand cut barn beams in 1906. Blake walked us through all our options and the crew brought the project to life. Highly, highly recommended
