Progressive Paving

Poor quality, not finishing job even after taking 70% downpayment and is not showing up to complete the job. Unresponsive, not returning phone calls and not responding to emails sent at all. My experience is in line with other customers who have given negative feedback on their service.

This company does not know what they are doing.

To Whom It may concern I met Jeff from â Progressive Constructionâ located in Hackensack , NJ on September 18, 2019. â Highly ratedâ by Home Advisor. I realize now that positive reviews are from friends and family who they have solicited to post fake reviews.. You will find very soon that he does lousy, slappy job. He talks a lot but he is a liar. His crew arrived the very next day! ripped up the asphalt, added some Belgium blocks. Apron came uneven. Seams are crocked . They did not cut the old one at the right place . You can see them rushing . The goal, to get it done as quickly as possible, get the money and run away. They got rid of garbage by stocking it in my garbage cans!! and throwing on my lawn. His response was, buy some bags of soil and seeds and cover it. And â that is what garbage cans forâ ?. But those were my cans and you did not ask me if you can put your industrial garbage in. He knocked down sprinkles promising to fix it and.. . He will promise you the moon . He got the biggest part of his money ( asking even more than I gave him) and never came back to actually put the asphalt. He does not answer phone calls and when he did answer, he made excuses for why the work was left incomplete. Itâ s now been more than two months. The more I analyze his actions, the more I realize. He never had any intentions to finish it. He is a classic crook, I finally met one. Iâ m using all the available tools, including legal actions to expose him and try to re-coup my money. I had to finish it with a different company. As you can imagine, the cost to finish someone elseâ s incomplete work is much more expensive than if the same company completely the job from the get go Do not trust or hire this guy. Did a good job

Hire Jeff the owner of progressive 9/17/19 to finish my driveway. He promised to have the job complete before my son first birthday Bbq 9/22, took a $1000 upfront and till this date we don't have a driveway. When you call him , he does not answer the phone and if you get a hold of him always one of his equipment is broken. Stay away

Told Jeff to come and clear our snow and he said we would be at the bottom of the list. After waiting 2 days he never showed up or returned any or my text messages. I had to remove the snow myself. Not reliable AT ALL.

Progressive patched my driveway after a 1000 gallon oil tank was dug out from under it. They were able to do the work quickly and met our need for a quick deadline, due to the pending sale of our house.

They responded quickly and were very professional. Job was well done. We were very satisfied

I would not recommend this company. I needed stone removed from my yard and a new driveway paved. He removed most of the rock, but left a lot. When I told him, he said once you put dirt over it you won't notice it. But then he came back and noticed how much he left behind and had to remove the remainder. Then kept promising to return for the driveway and weeks passed without communication..unless I contacted him. FINALLY he completed the work on the new drive, but it is not even and there were holes in it. Advice: Don't always go for the lowest quote you get.

Don't let him play games with timing of payment.

I used Progressive to construct a paver apron and to repair cracks on existing driveway and then to seal-coat the driveway. They also installed a small paver patch by the garage doors. Jeff, the owner, was extremely helpful guiding me through all the various options in color and design. In the end we chose a beautiful color and design combo that complements my home. Very competitive prices, attention to detail and timely service. They are a home run!!!

Jeff responded to all my calls in a timely manner. His estimate was reasonable and so was the work quality. He was professional. I had my driveway patched and cracks filled and seal coated. he completed the job in 4 hours and did the job the week he promised he would. I recommend getting a quote from him.

Very reasonable, must get a quote from him before you buy elsewhere. I loved his style an ideas. I got gray pavers with onyx borders I love it. Very stylish, not an old fashion look. he did it in reasonable price. He gave me 2 price options before starting the project so that I will not be shocked at the end. Only issue I had was Instead of completing the job in 2 days as he promised, he took 1 week.
