Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
This company is so crooked. They sent someone out to install the dishwasher and put in new disposal. Charged over $600 to do that. They installed it then it leaked and then they came back out. Told me it was the manufacturers fault for a faulty pipe drain. Ordered the hose they told me to order and then tried to charge to come back out. A real plumber came out today and said the install was wrong that it was not caused by a faulty part. That the way it was installed caused a hole in the hose. Do not use this company. The owner refused to give any money back and overcharged.

We came to an agreement to reconnect and come to a solution the following day but I'm sorry to see that has changed."

Justin quoted both small jobs at 250, the minimum cost. The job was then delayed several times and broken into two days to deliberately double the cost. The old doors were left in the house, disposal was not taken care of. After contacting justin I was told he would pick them up but he never did and stopped answering texts and calls. Overall work quality acceptable, deliberate overcharging and not finishing the job (cleaning up is part of the job), and then lying about meeting to eventually clean up made the overall experience bad. I would not hire them or recommend them again.

The project manager and both teams that were used were solid. After experiencing some issues with the first team's work, they immediately sent out their best man, and fixed any concerns I had. And actually, it took all of his skills to find and implement the solution, which I've tried to previously fix with other companies. Well satisfied with the end results and they were a pleasure to work with.

I received a prompt text and follow up call regarding a small drywall repair project at my house. A gentleman called me and was very nice and courteous on the phone. We set up an in home estimate for the job the next day. An estimator came in and took photos and notes about the project and quoted me $450 for the job, which was somewhat reasonable for the small half day job. We set up and agreed on the terms and left with a $50 deposit. The next day as they were on the way to my house to do job, the estimator called me to tell me that he under valued the job and it was going to be an additional $150. That honestly felt like a last minute up charge rather than an honest mistake. He is the one that the company trust to give the estimates and it s his sole job.. How do you fail by 25% to give the correct estimate for a job? So needless to say I canceled the job with them after that short conversation. I had high hopes and was ready to have Pronto do the job.. But they failed miserabley to try ND retain a customer who had already signed up for the job.

Tony H was excellent. I had him fix rotted soffit on the second story. He found some additional rot on trim and facia which he fixed as well. Unfortunately he found a wasp nest but we managed to get rid of them as well. Looks great. Beside and ask for Tony H.

Someone came out and gave me a quote of approximately $600.00 for labor and materials. I only needed the equivalent of 5 long boards (16ft boards) but I was charged for 9 because of some mix up. When I agreed to hire them, I was told they'd take away the debris. That didn't happen and the job cost me almost $900.00 even though I was told they'd credit me with the $100 credit they'd charged to my card the previous day! That didn't happen either! So, my Amex is currently reflecting charges totaling $964.49 over the two transactions! While I was on the phone complaining about the lack of transparency in their billing, I heard my power washer firing up! I went down into my garage and saw that their worker had helped himself to my tools and was washing the nails and debris from the deck overhead out into the street. I stopped him and asked what he thought he was doing!! I couldn't believe my eyes! This guy did good work, but he, like this company lack customer skills. This company intentionally engages in double speak and circular logic and deliberately fails to inform their prospective customers of the true charges they are about to incur and they stick it to you in the end. Home Advisor would be well served to drop them!

Regarding the concerns of double speak, we pride ourselves in our transparency and that's why all of our quotes detail out the labor cost and scope of work, and the estimated materials budget. Our estimators go over those quotes with you in person so you have an accurate amount before agreeing to move forward and schedule the work. In your case, there was some confusion during the job and additional boards were added to your work order, but, after discussing with our Operations Team, those changes were reverted back to your original price and scope. Your final invoice shows a labor charge of $656.73 (the original agreed upon amount- for five deck boards replaced and the area painted), a material cost of $287.76 and $20 tip which equals $964.49. Your initial deposit of $100 + the final payment of $864 = $964. Again, we apologize for any pricing confusion and appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to learn from this."
