Ricardo Hernandez installed flooring in the kitchen; ran an electrical line for a fan and another for a washer dryer. He was prompt every day. he worked quickly and efficiently; told me what he was doing at each step and cleaned up before leaving each day. He is an excellent worker and I would recommend him to anyone.

Project: Hire a Handyman
This company is fantastic. Was a lot skeptical because I live in an older condo and have many unpleasant experiences. This was just the opposite. From the first walk through to the actual person showing up was like being with a friend. Very comfortable, no pressure, friendly and professional. If you can get Devonte he is the one that got my place back in order. He is young but has the skills of the handymen of old...GREAT!!!

If this company did not have some questionable practices they would have got a higher rating from me. The actual work done was good and the workers who did it were very professional. But the estimator who was supposed to be the project manager, missed several items during the estimation process. They claim that they give you a flat rate, but they ended up changing my estimates a couple of times. For example, they were supposed to replace two columns under my deck that were rotten at the base and had caused the deck to bend a bit. After they replaced the two columns, they told me they had to replace a third column additionally to fix the problem with the deck. So I ended up being charged more for that project. These guys were also supposed to replace some rotten window sills and door frames for me. That project also more than doubled by the time it was done. The other practice I did not like was that they don't include material in their cost. He gave me an estimate that my material cost would be $200-400. In reality it ended up being close to $1000, and even worse, some of the receipts were just saying something like "construction material", without any details. The other thing that is strange about their practices is that they don't haul away the debris and the construction garbage. They collect them and put them at the curbside. This one item prevents me from recommending them or thinking of using them again. I strongly hope that they change this practice! Overall, I did not feel they cared about my satisfaction for long term. I was not very happy with the reactions to my issues by the estimator/ project manager and his partner. They were not acting as if they cared to keep me as a returning customer. Although the actual work done was good, I was planning to give them a lower overall rating because of their customer service. But I was pleased that at the end their General Manager called me to address my complaints and apologized for how I felt I was treated. That showed at least he realized the value of a repeat business and customer satisfaction. He was very understanding and I appreciated it.
