Philip is a hard-working, careful-working, flexible-working pro. I have an old log cabin that needed lots of prep work and care in order to paint and refresh. He and his team of one, Donna, took four days to prep. They scraped, pressure washed, caulked and landscaped. The painting process required several layers of different colors and trims. In all we used 5 colors. The grout lines alone took a whole day. The outside of the house was transformed by the time Philip and Donna were finished. The interior was no easier. Again, they scraped and caulked, cleaned and prepped for three days, and working from top to bottom, they painted the ceiling and walls, and then cut in the beams and painted them. I received knowledgeable advice from Donna and Philip on everything from colors to methods, stains to paints. The goal was to preserve the character of the original cabin, but inject a clean modern aesthetic-- not a simple task, but they did it. On a personal note, Philip and Donna are very easy to talk to and eager to make the project a success. Their hard work is evident in the outcome, you can see their dedication to detail, but what you can't see is their dedication to service, promptness, and patience. They really wanted me to be happy with the colors and the shines. Philip was very flexible with the time horizon for this project which I appreciated. And he made time to paint the interior even though that was not part of our original contract. The interior was put back together and cleaned spotlessly. There were no spills or splatter marks either inside or out, and he came back to the house on a Sunday morning after the job was completed to make final touch-ups. I got far more than my money's worth, and I will use Philip for any and all other painting projects in the future.
