We hired Property Management Solutions to paint our home, install a new front door, create a new step off of our sliding door, and redo a very small deck that is attached to our back door. With the initial interaction and throughout the process our main contact was with the owner, Chris. I will begin with the positives. We received a fantastic deal with the price to paint our home. Overall, we are pleased with the outcome of the paint job. Once our home was painted, Chris business partner, Henry, did the rest of the work with help from a couple of his workers. As I stated before, Henry installed a new front door, redid a small deck, and made a new step off of our sliding door. The small deck came out beautiful. It was nicer than I had expected. Chris had suggested creating a small bench alongside of the deck and he was right. It came out great. Henry did the work. My only complaint it that the bottom step is lose. It isnâ t sturdy. However, if the company would have come back as they were supposed to, it could have easily have been fixed by them. This leads me to present the issues that arose. The step that Henry made off of our sliding door, is not what Chris had designed for us. Chris explained his design idea to my husband and I and what Henry did was nothing like what was originally planned. We did not approve it and we do not like it. We had a front door installed with sidelights and a new lock. The door was installed improperly and the lock was installed crooked. My husband and I pointed out to Henry that the lock was installed crooked. He wouldnâ t fix. Now for the door, we did not realize that it wasnâ t installed properly until a few days later when the door wasnâ t closing properly and the lock was not latching. Since then, we called another company to look at our door since Property Management Solutions did not come back like they were supposed to. The company pointed out many problems with the door and lock installation that were very noticeable. Since my husband and I are not the professionals, we did not notice how terribly it was installed. The installation is actually coming apart and is crooked. We spoke to Chris and told him immediately about the step. He said to give him two weeks and he would come back and take care of it. We trusted him and paid him cash for the entire job. He took our money and never came back! We contacted him multiple times! Our last conversation with him was on July 7th. He was going to give us $300 back since we now have to hire another company to fix all that was done improperly. Of course that doesnâ t cover anything close to what we have to pay to uninstall and reinstall our door, fix the lock, tear down the step that was made and redo it, and fix the loosen step on the deck. However, we were gracious because we did not expect him to even offer that. He was going to come to our house on July 8th to give us the money, and never did. Again, we are back to not receiving any responses. On July 15th, we called Chris and he did not answer. Shortly after we received a text message to accept $300 with Zelle. However, we donâ t have a Zelle account so we immediately advised Chris to refund our money in the form of cash as we had paid him. It is now July 29th and nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone other than to paint the exterior of your home. A lesson learned, do not pay for a job in full until you are completely satisfied with the outcome. Also, I should have read reviews prior to choosing this company. We chose this company based on a recommendation. Next time, regardless of a recommendation, I will do my own research.
