Kenny did an absolutely excellent job installing our sliding door. He hit some emerging challenges along the way and adapted to the circumstances beautifully. We are saving up for a window project and hope to hire him to complete the installation.

Kenny was by far the best person for this job. Prices are reasonable and Kenny makes everything easy to understand, kept communication throughout the ordering and delivery process. This install was also during COVID and Kenny always planned times to when to ensure safety. I had even reached out for other services to consider through Proulx’s Carpentry. Kenny is wonderful to work with. He takes pride in his work and it shows. This is our second time using him and we plan to hire him the next time we need work done around our condo.

Kenny did a great job for us. Kenny was punctual and very processional. He did extra work when he found that we had a problem with a rotting frame before he could install our door. He communicated the problems, documented all of work he did. We will definitely work with Kenny again for any carpentry work we need to have done.

Kenny was punctual and professional. He did a very thorough job of installing the storm door - with careful attention to every detail. I could tell he was experienced and capable of doing an excellent job by the way he approached the job and got it done.

Kenny removed and replaced an old rotted sliding patio door. The job was completed professionally, in a timely manner, and the work site was left clean. He was very good about communicating the cost and scope of the project. I would call Kenny back again, and definitely recommend him.

Kenny is amazing and comes with my highest recommendation! If I could give 10 stars I would. He is done a couple of large projects for us. 2 years ago he did a 12x32 Deck with 12x22 screen house. This thing is a monster and very sturdy, we have absolutely loved it! He is very meticulous and has a fine attention to detail and does things correctly. He is very approachable and open to suggestions and changes. A few months ago we decided that we were going to finish our attic - it was easy selecting a contractor, because of Kennys previous work. This was a complete attic remodel. (subfloor, framing, drywall, finish work) Kenny helped design the layout, he came up with ideas, including the use of an existing closet for the stairway which turned out beautiful. He finished on time, on budget and the finished product is amazing! He opened up a big wall in our ceiling and created a loft/balcony and meticulously cut and placed 80 spindles in the rails of the stairs and loft! It looks awesome and we are very grateful. Kenny does the little extra things to ensure a smooth job. He cleans up after himself daily. His prices are very reasonable too. He is also done a few small jobs for us too and treats those with the same care as a large project. I hope he never retires because we have got plenty of projects for years to come! Thanks, Kenny!

Work is still on-going but looks fantastic so far. Will update after work is complete. **Update** Ken did an awesome job on our stairs! I wish I could post pictures. The only problem is that now the stairs are the best looking thing in the house so I'll have to hire Ken to do some more work!

Ken came by and did crown moulding on my kitchen cabinets. I hate to say how good he was because I do not like to share a rare find. To be fair to an awesome guy, here I go. The crown moulding project was going to be a bear and I did not want anything to do with it. My bride was harrping on me to get it done so I through it on home advisor. Ken called within a half hour to discuss the project. The job required a shitload of cut but Ken offered a fair price. I would hire Ken and his son in a heartbeat. - Jack Linane

Couple years ago, I needed to make an opening in the wall for a new window. Ken made sure to enclose the work area in order to keep dust from spreading around the house. He made an exact opening for the window and there was no need for patching drywall after installing the window. He fixed the siding on the outside and cleanup after he was done. The quality of his work is outstanding and look forward to working with him again.

Repeat customers. This year Kenny installed our tile backsplash, waincotting in kitchen, wood stairs and railing in upstairs hall. As always, his work is outstanding! Shows up when scheduled and cleans up each day. He again worked around our other contractors always a pleasure to do business with; have recommended him to several friends.

Ken was very meticulous and provided a great service and a good value.

Ken knew exactly how to install the tile in my kitchen and even made some helpful suggestions that, I felt, enhanced the quality of the project. I will be hiring him again when we remodel our bathroom in the spring.

Project took several days. Ken was on time for every appointment. Work was done on schedule and the site was clean at the end of every day - even the days they sanded. Very impressed. Would use again and recommend.

Ken does excellent work. When I contacted him I got a timely detailed estimate and he stuck to that price. I highly recommend him and will hire him again.

Called Mr. Proulx and he came over for an estimate. We set a dat and the work was done in about 6 hrs. Great work, clean, quite. Thanks for a great job, will be working with him on future projects.

Everyone that called either said they would call back and never did. Some said they don't do under ten windows.Ken called went to the site took the measurements ,ordered the window and installed it. I own multiple properties and I would call Ken Proulix first before anyone else.I found him to be the most reliable of all your advertisers.

We started our communications with Proulx's Carpentry in late summer 2014. Ken was pretty busy at the time. Add a couple of redesigns and email delays, and before we knew it, it was mid fall and at that point it was unclear to both Ken and I if we did start the project at that point, whether it would be finished before winter set in. Considering the brutal winter we ended up having this year, it was the right decision to make. Ken came back in mid Spring and we finalized the design and move forward. The project began in June and finished up a couple up a couple of weeks ago. - Ken does really, really good work. He re-attached, re-decked, and extended a large deck to 20' x 45'. Where it attached to the house he build a 14 x 14 screen room. - The work is rock solid stable yet the style ties in perfectly with the log cabin we live in. Connecting a conventionally framed structure to logs is no simple task, but he did it with a combination of ingenuity and style. We love our new space! - Ken was always very considerate of our space and we trusted him and his team implicitly when were at work or away. - They kept things clean and organized throughout the whole project. - Ken is very easy to talk to and more than willing to consider and discuss design revisions. - On top of all this, his quote and subsequent project expense was very reasonable priced as we had engaged 3 other Contractors for quotes. In the end, my wife and I couldn't be more happy with our new space and Ken's work.
