Reviews
Write a ReviewVery professional and efficient. I did not end up doing business with pulse roofing and yet they were here with me through the first part of the claim process. They even came out when the insurance companies inspector was here just to make sure that they saw what they needed to see. I highly recommend
I would like to detail my experience with Pulse Roofing and Restoration. My house was damaged by the recent tornado that went through Pearland, Pasadena, and Deer Park on 1/24/23. We had roof, window, and interior damage from the storm, but thankfully no one was hurt. I was happy to find Pulse and enjoyed working with Kevin and James, as they are experts in handling insurance. James has driven over an hour from his house to meet with my insurance adjuster five times! We made good headway with the insurance, and my first payment was distributed. Our goal was to get the roof taken care of first, which made me happy as we are almost two months out with holes covered by tarps on my roof. We were told to plan for the roof replacement on Friday, 3/17, but it was called off due to rain. The date was moved to Monday or Tuesday as the weather was going to be good; see the attached text message. Materials were delivered Friday, and late Friday evening I was told the date had been changed again to possibly Saturday but at the latest Sunday depending on the weather. Saturday morning started off with rain, so I am expecting Sunday to be the day. At 7:15, my doorbell rings, and Frank, the roofing supervisor, says they are here to replace the roof. I question him, and he states the rain is expected to be minimal, and they will work in sections and stop if it is raining. Reluctantly, I agreed to allow them to proceed, as I expected the same professionalism and expertise I have seen in my dealings with Kevin and James. By 8 am, it is raining with some hail and sleet. I text James, and I am called right back to tell me that he trusts his guys and that they are doing everything well. He is not here, though; he is more than 50 miles away at home. I just happened to go outside to see if I could keep the removed decking, which was damaged by the tornado. The boss was on the roof, removing the old shingles. He said he was not aware of any holes in the decking, at which point I had to point them out. I have attached pictures and videos of the weather conditions during which my roof was replaced. I raised multiple concerns and reservations about the conditions under which my roof was replaced. Every time I was told it was totally normal to replace roofs in the rain and that Pulse Roofing does this all the time, I was shocked. I am not a roofing expert, but I have never seen roofers start a roof while it is raining. I have researched the products that were used on my roof, and the manufacturers clearly state that trapped moisture may cause accelerated decking failure due to mold and rot. I shared my concerns with Kevin, to which I was told I was ignorant and very mistaken. Pulse is a full-service contractor and is working off the insurance settlement. They have collected 39,000 dollars and have already asked when they can grab the next distribution. At this time, I have serious reservations about continuing business with a company that clearly does not care about their customer concerns. I have been threatened with legal action for posting an honest review. Going through a disaster and trying to navigate all of the nuances of the insurance industry has been stressful. I had high hopes that Pulse was going to be the way to restore our lives as painlessly as possible, but after seeing how they handled this situation, I have serious reservations about their business practices and customer relations.
This is not a valid review and this person is a con artist that attempted to scam us.
Did a great job
2 hours late for an estimate.
No set time put in place. We were there within the window of time. The job the customer stated on site was different than what was requested.
They are very friendly and work to make your experience as pain-free and positive as possible.
excellent
They were very professional, very prompt, and worked hard to finish my house in the promised time.
Pulse Roofing and Restoration LLC provided me a completed high quality roof at a reasonable price. They were good at offering advice on the different options they had available. Their work was professionally done and I haven't had any issues!
