Scott Gustafson gave me an estimate and did the work. He was on time, pleasant and professional. And neat - no mess left at all. Afterwards, I paid the bill on line and received a detailed analysis of the mold and air quality. This is a different way of treating mold than the older method of tearing everything apart.

I can with all honestly say this company is owned and managed and employed by the neatest people who hold integrity as a value they stand by when working with their customers. I had a technical issue on my end getting approval for completion of testing that had incidentally already been performed due to miscommunication on both our ends resulting in subsequent receipt of the invoice for request of payment and so I simply emailed Scott the technician who did the testing on site that day as well as Clint the owner/manager and without hesitation of any kind they gladly relieved me from responsibility of payment. This gesture of kindness and the level of respect they hold for the value of customer service is in my opinion pretty unique and so well deserving of their level of integrity being shared with all who read this as if it can promote further business for them then I ve given back and that s the way our world should work. Just takes people like Scott and Clint to initiate such a gesture and from there people naturally want to pay it forward :)

Scott from Pure Maintenence worked diligently with us throughout the process of our mold remediation. He did a very thorough initial assessment of our home, gave us some tips about where the moisture was coming from that was leading to our mold problem, and essentially gave us some homework to do before he came and applied the mold treatment fog. I really appreciated this part of the process, because it gave us the much-needed direction we needed and a concrete to-do list to make sure the mold wouldn t return once Scott applied the treatment. After we remedied all of the moisture-causing problems, Scott helped us work with our home insurance company while they processed our claim for the mold. He even made extra trips out to our house to take pictures for the insurance company to aide in the processing of our claim. When insurance was ready and our moisture problems were under control via the dehumidifiers and gutter repairs that Scott advised, he came back to apply the mold treatment fog. He was in and out within a few hours and we were able to come back to a safe and mold-free home. He even called the next day to check up on us and make sure everything was in order. He gave us some follow up care reminders and with that, I feel confident we will be able to keep our home safe and mold free!

I would recommend Pure Maintenance of Iowa, LLC over any other mold remediation company I corresponded with most recently and for a number of reasons for which are and should be important to all consumers looking for knowledgeable and integrity based information & guidance relating to a problem that is more prevalent than one may think, in more home types than one may think, to include new construction homes , and a problem for which if not treated could pose health risks to all whom live in a positive tested environment especially one where people whom have allergies and other kinds of predisposed respiratory conditions live. Exposure to certain kinds of mold can make those people more susceptible & more sensitive than most to the irritating effects of mold as well as to the repercussions of certain kinds for which could affect ones health and overall well being. I had the pleasure of meeting Scott Gustofson , one of Pure Maintenanceâ s Lead technicians , during his visit to my home today for which I scheduled for reasons of needing some help understanding and learning the science behind how they are able to identify the potential of future mold and/or current mold presence in my new construction home. This being something I needed from them before I could even think of considering their testing. And they were more than accommodating in doing so. Unexpected to me , the visit today also included a preliminary moisture testing service for which assists Pure maintenance better support their recommendations for either moving forward with the science based testing methods they offer or Ruling out the need for doing so. The time extended for providing education as well as the moisture preliminary testing done today were both fee of charge and both held me , as a potential future customer , 100% free of enduring any cost at all from todayâ s visit and/or in the future if I for whatever reason chose to not go ahead with the testing and subsequent remediation. In my experience customer service like that is just not seen very much at all anymore these days. I also think Scott should be recognized by this company for representing them in such a positive light by having such great knowledge of the products used and in the research that supports their testing and treatment methods and also being able to articulate all in such a genuine and educated way that also makes perfect sense to the customer at the same time. Pure Maintenance was wonderful help with testing a rent house for me and answering all of my questions. Including questions about health effects from mold. They responded quickly to my call and were quick to action. In regards to cost, their prices fell below what my research had told me to expect. Overall, very happy.
