Pure Michigan Custom Painting

Had our deck s painted in June of 23. 1 year later already several bear spot. When guy finished there were so many missed spots also. Jamie did come out and touch up , however he had not been paid yet I have reached out to him, left a few voicemails but no response. Highly donâ t recommend

Bad communication, did not delivered the promised work.

Do NOT use Jamie. He used inferior paint with very light coating. Never came back to fix problems. Rude behavior. We have had to hire someone else to repair the problems. Highly recommend Ellison Painting if you need a quality painter. Do not use Jamie.

Jamie was very rude. The paint is peeling and you cant even wipe the wall and the paint comes off. It took me months to get him back out here and they still didnt fix it. I paid 6k to have whole interior of house painted. I have paint peeling, paint runs, roller marks brush marks .if i wash a wall with a wet softcloth the paint comes off. Theres several areas that they only did one coat. TERRIBLE. Then when he finally came over after calling him over and over i watched my ring doorbell video. He said to his coworker about me." If that f ing " B" didnt save the left over paint then that f ing " b" can go buy more paint . Then when he came in he had bad attitude towards me and blamed everything wrong either on me or saying i have poor insulation and thats why the paint is peeling. REALLY , ON INTERIOR WALLS THAT ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOUSE. Since then ive had to pay to have some of this fixed. I dont have the extra money to fix it all. This was spring of 2021. I still have messed up paint because i cant afford to pay to have them fixed. I hope he reads this review. I had a lot of different colors done. Urban bronze and tans and purples in my room and greys in one bathroom. When they did try to fix one wall in that bathroom the used the WRONG GREY COLOR AND ITS SPOTTED WITH A DIFFERENT COLOR OF GREY. . JAMIE YOU ARE AN AWFUL PERSON. WITH A POOR ATTITUDE . ILL NEVER FORGET THIS AND HOW TERRIBLE YOU TREATED ME. AND THE FINANCIAL BURDEN YOU CAUSED ME. ITS SAD BECAUSE YOU DONT CARE!!! D M ..CLIO

Jaime Thompson is a crook. Had to take him to court twice to get our money back. RUN away from this guy. He tried to put a cheap paint on my house verses what we contracted for. Then he left the job and wouldnâ  t return our money. We sued him and he failed to pay judgement. So we requested his financial statements 2nd time. Finally paid.

BEWARE !!! December 12, 2023, Jamie disconnected his phone after taking my $600 down payment and NOT DOING ANY WORK! I have reported him to the police, Angies list and anyone else who will listen!! He is a scammer!! Donâ  t fall for it!!!!

The employees did their job but the owner is less than a business man. He sells a new revolutionary stain from Sherwin Williams thatâ s actually paint. That was proven by Sherwin W. then they refused to talk with me because Pure Michigan was their customer. I found paint peeling two monthâ s later going into January. He refused to set up a tentative date for spring. Kept telling me to call him in a couple months. My project was in 2001 and as of 8/2023 NOTHING!! Stay clear of this guy!!!? They also painted my house during that same job. His painter noticed my soffits were already peeling. Still nothing doneâ ¦ The owner shows up at the beginning and end with only one crew.

Showed up 6 weeks later than promised. Complained and did not want to do what he originally agreed on. Painted deck. Last less than 6 months before starting to peel off. Cost $400 more than quoted. Refused to do anything about the problems. $1,700 down the drain. Paint has to be removed; re-done.

Very happy with the work performed. Jamie was very responsive and he and the team did quality work, on time and per the quote. Great experience!

The team showed up on time, was considerate of me and my home and cleaned up after their work. Iâ m satisfied with their work. There were some areas that needed more attention but Jamie got his team back and resolved my concern. In the end, Iâ m very happy with their work and the value for my money.

Further, the attention to detail and quality control exercised by not only the business owner but also the workers performing the painting was exceptional. They, both, take pride in their work and focus on pleasing their customers and it certainly shows. Best paint job I had ever contracted and I will certainly be using them again.
