whatever anyone does, Please do yourself a favor and do not believe anything home advisor shows you. We had posted a job and we hired purpleheart construction 347-453-1313 in South Richmond Hill, the biggest mistake ever! First off they have a team of drinkers so Mondays are mostly no shows, Some of the work like the grout in every room is cracked and has holes which yes, they will fix but why do it twice or 3 times as they have repairs some areas a few times only for the cracks to reappear. Many tiles are not even level as they are slightly not aligned or higher than others. They have never covered a single thing in the home and have never cleaned up daily, my new sink looks like it is 30 years old as they are pigs on how they treat your home, the electric was screw up in the bedroom by one of the workers who brought beers into my home which was fixed but had to rip out new installed walls. The bathroom was leaking water which they claimed they fixed, leaked solder all into the jacuzzi they installed and never cleaned it so hoping the stains come out, the water also is still leaking in the shower head, assuming behind the wall which they claimed they fixed but still leaking into my first floor apartment which they already fixed as the drill went crashing thru when it fell between the rather, and a half job done on that as they never replaced the sheet rock. The owner has delays ordering the deck and floor supplies as he has been negotiating prices or trying to offer the same product but china made when it is exclusive to lumber liquidators. Today he called and said a tree fell at his sisters and they could not come but not believing him, they have had well over a month of not showing up for work, I believe doing other jobs, The owner asked for money 3 months ago to order the floor, cabinets and deck material and deck material only orders about 3 weeks ago, flooring not ordered yet and do not think cabinets are ordered either. Just a 4 month nightmare and not a single room or task is complete. I recommend running as far as you can from this company as well as home advisor. There are many more issues than mentioned which will eventually be fixed but not worth the headache. P.S my backyard looks like a nightmare as never cleaned anything as of yet. Also the owners memory of discussions is horrible as well as he tries to altered stuff and not include stuff that is part of a complete demo. THEY WALKED OFF THE JOB 30 DAYS AGO DUE TO MY REVIEWS AND BLACKMAILED ME INTO REMOVING THEM WITH THE HOPES OF COMP0LETYING THE JOB WHICH HASN'T HAPPENED. I BELIEVE HE SPENT MY MONEY I PAID HIM AND IS BROKE AS HE HAS NO CREDIT OR BAD CREDIT, COULD BUY THE FLOORING, A SINPLE DEPOSIT OF 500, I HAD TO PUT ON MY CREDIT CARD

Stanley is a hard working, honest and reasonable contractor. He returns phone calls and text messages and is a great communicator. Even when faced with challenges, Stanley maintains his composure and his patience. He is flexible and willing to accommodate additional requests that were not part of the original discussion. We did a complicated renovation to our basement which included a difficult situation with a cabinet company that did not measure correctly, causing a delay in the completion of the project. Stanley did a great job of compensating for this issue and was very accommodating to us.

Stanley was very attentive to our needs and concerns. He is very courteous and respectful as well as his staff. When unexpected issues were discovered during the renovation, he explained in detail what was needed and offered us options. We are very happy with the outcome of our project and expect to work with him in the future.

The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, it was high end work for a great price. when they finished my kitchen I gave them the contract for the demolition of my bathroom and my living room.the guys are very respectful and courteous.

Stanley is a totally hands on contractor. worth every penny, high end items used even when not ordered. All employees are very hard workers. Very nice and personable. Very clean workers, from the start to the finish.Understanding even when I added more work. Definitely recommending them to all my friends and already scheduling a new project with them.

Please don't ever do the mistake I did by hiring this person. He pretends he knows everything but in reality it's like spoon feeding someone. I am at a point where I am losing my mind all because of him. Don't ever ever use this person for your work. He doesn't know his profession and shouldn't be doing this ruining people's life and home. First, worst and last experience with home advisor. Also I advise you to hire someone that you know or someone recommended to you rather than hiring people through the net.
