I signed a contract with them for $40k. Stamped concrete. Gas lines. Two fire pits and a BBQ area. The concrete was done twice and never sealed. The gas lines were undersized. Concrete started cracking almost immediately. I had to seal it myself. In order to do so, I had to remove the fire pits and found that they did not set the anchors properly. I basically spent my entire summer trying to prevent them from cutting corners. The last time that I spoke with John Calvario is when he asked for more $ to buy materials. He cashed that check and I never saw him again. He received $29k from me and maybe completed 30% of the job. The employees would regularly throw their lunch trash all over my property and come and go as they pleased. They left all of the garbage materials all over my back yard. 4 months later, I am still cleaning it up and fixing their mistakes. I filed a complaint with the contractors board but it did not do much because they are NOT LICENSED. I will be taking them to court but it has been difficult. I am disabled so the work has been tough and paying for a job twice has not been easy. Please look into Calvario construction and John Calvario with the contractors board before hiring them. They are incompetent and John is a thief. He cashed my check for materials and bailed. Will not answer my phone calls or text messages. The job was scheduled to be completed 5/20/23. It is 9/13/23

AMAZING. PROFESSIONAL. PERFECTION. Youâ d think I was getting paid to write this but Iâ m not. That being said, I had to let the world know I have found my forever company and am so thrilled with the work I received. I wanted to have a sports court for my kids in the backyard. I stumbled upon Calvario AKA the Calvary of Construction by chance. I texted and Jonathan responded within 10 minutes of my request to have a quote. He showed up timely and was so friendly and professional that I instantly knew the other bids I had or was going to receive were going to the trash. His bid was straightforward, honest and I could tell his work ethic lined up with my expectations. He and his crew showed up every morning ready to work. Jonathan made sure all the â tâ s were crossedâ when it came time for anything they needed to do asking for my permission before proceeding. When I went out to check on the progress, he and his guys had gone over and beyond what he even quoted me without charging me a single penny more. They poured more cement than I expected because he wanted the backyard to look perfect as his signature would be on his work. I had contracted him to pour cement to line up with the existing cement I already had. He was not happy with the deep grooves that were there and wanted my backyard to look uniform and perfect so he surprised me with an entire new backyard of the best cement job Iâ ve ever seen AND small groove lines to match my vision of a sports court! His crew were kind, hard working and respectful of me and my family. They too went over their call of duty. Not only did they move the bushes I had but they replaced the water lines in the backyard as well as the front! No stone was unturned when it came to what they wanted me to have. Again, at no extra cost to show what kind of work they do. When they left, they did so pristinely leaving my back and side yard completely clean. I could go on and on with how happy I am, how excited my children are and the kind of business Calvario is. This town needs to take notes from this company. Five stars and then some! Iâ m including pictures but please note that it is still curing and has not been power washed or painted yet. If youâ re in need of anything cement or construction related, make this company your first call! Thank you Jonathan and team! I am so so so grateful!

They quoted a price and its what I paid , They started and completed the job the same day and the backyard wall looks fantastic and their customer service was awesome

They removed a pocket door and changed the wall it was in from a full wall to a pony wall opening up the dining and living room areas to an open floor plan. I love it.
