Pam and Joe are a dynamic duo - the super heroes of home improvement! We started by replacing our old deck with a larger screened outdoor living area, which required skill and persistence to get planning permission and inspections. Then we remodelled our basement bathroom, adding a custom tiled shower. They helped us decide what would work best, paid attention to every detail, and communicated clearly at every stage. Their team is skillful, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. They worked extremely hard to solve unexpected challenges and complete everything on schedule. We are delighted with the results and enjoy the new parts of our home every day.

From the beginning of the project to the very end, we had such a wonderful experience hiring Qualified Remodelers for our renovation. My husband and I have been highly impressed every step of the way. Our basement is the new hang out spot. It’s exactly what we wanted and more! Every inch of our laundry room is now functional and beautiful! Their communication is great, not once did we feel out of the loop. We were updated every step of the way. They are really easy to work with and incredibly receptive. The crew cleans up daily which was nice when we’d check out the progress at the end of the day. WOW, WOW, WOW! That pretty much sums up my experience with Joe and his team at Qualified Remodelers. Not only were they professional, knowledgeable and timely they were also personable, patient and detailed oriented. I have wanted to have my kitchen remodeled for over 15 years. However, after several bad experiences with some contractors I didn't trust anyone to come into my home and undertake such a large job (wall removal, HVAC reroute, new everything). After meeting with Joe he was able to quickly identify my pain points and offered ideas that would work for my family. He had me when he said "We can build you a pantry". Joe and his team were great. They were on-site 6 days a week, they were respectful, and a pleasure to work with. The completed project exceeding my expectations. But wait, did I mention Carlos!!! Carlos is the man!! He knows what he is doing. Because of my past experiences with contractors I asked a lot of questions, Carlos never had a problem with answering any of my questions and making sure there were "no problems". I truly wish I could post pictures because this written review really doesn't give the job they did for me and my family justice. Now....I will warn you...Joe has a big personality, a lot of energy and phone with thousands of pictures to show and prove the quality of work his team provides. So, get ready for a great experience. Qualified Remodelers were absolutely fantastic to work with and their work is extremely high quality. Joe and the team were always on-time, on-budget, professional and very patient with me as we were going through the project. They completely remodeled my kitchen and fixed my deck. These guys pride themselves on the quality of their work and really do right by their customers. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is having work done on their house. These guys are awesome!

Joe and his team are professional, timely, and talented. They took my vision of a living room remodel and brought it to life. It was such a breath of fresh air after a horrible experience with a different contractor leaving me scared to have any work done on my house. Joe and his team truly take pride in the work that they do. There’s no other contractor I would use, as I can’t imagine anyone can top the experience that I had with Joe and his team. I truly can’t recommend them enough.

My wife and I would highly recommend QR Remodelers. We met with the owner Joe Barone and his wife Pam who is his assistant. The moment we met them we could sense how passionate and professional they were. QR presented us with the cheapest estimate but more important they listened to what we wanted done. The other guys couldn't or wouldn't. Work started and ended as scheduled. Joe's crews made the chaos of construction as pleasant as possible. The workers were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Joe would show up every day to make sure all was going well and would come up with a new vision or idea. He was totally vested in this house. They even did a few extras that wasn't in the contract, like installing light fixtures, a fan, mailbox and other suggestions that added to the aesthetics. All of Joe's ideas made the house look way better than we had envisioned. Any future work we have done will be done by Qualified Remodelers. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of the project!

We cant say enough good things about Q&R. Its a family business and you can really tell the difference. We asked them to design a studio apt for our basement and they delivered a top tier space. Palma mapped out a precise budget and stuck to it. We didnt get any of the usual surprise fees/nickel-and-dime drama that so many contractors pull. Quite the opposite- they went above and beyond with custom cabinetry and a gorgeous shower upgrade. We had some significant delays due to MD county permitting — there were lessons learned all around. And this team went above and beyond to complete the job at warp speed once we had approvals. The team was there every. single. day. knocking out the work. The communication was proactive, accountable and professional. The final design and the experience exceeded all our expectations. It’s absolutely amazing how they transformed a 280 sq foot room into a fully livable apartment. We would work w/Palma and Joe again in a heart beat!

Our project is finished and it is perfect in every way. What a transformation. If I could give them ten stars instead of five, I would do that in a minute. Joe and Pam met with us initially to get our vision for the project. They made some really valuable suggestions, things neither of us had even considered, that brought the whole room together for us. . Their team of workers is the best, easy to work with and they are real artisans. They guided us through the whole process and then performed a miracle in getting all (a kitchen, dining room, bedroom and walk in closet) of this finished in five days…including painting, new flooring, new counters, installation of a flush mount sink with new fixtures, and back splash. We look forward to working with them all again with another project in the fall. For any other future projects, Qualified Remodelers will be the only team we will consider. We now consider all of them as friends. Thank you all.

“Qualified” should really be “Quality” in the business name! From the owner (Joe), and wife (Pam), to the workers, it was such a joy to see and experience individuals who took pride in their work and insured that they had met my expectations. As I shared with both of them, they truly made me feel like family throughout the entire experience. The workers are amazing. Should you do business with them I pray that you get the same ones that I did! I am in love with my kitchen and bathroom set up. I shared my desire and they made it a reality and I am forever thankful to them.

A true design and build company. Easy to work with, high quality work with great finishing touches. Crew extremely pleasant and kept workspace clean on a daily basis. Would recommend.

besides doing the kitchen, they also remodeled the bathroom which were both done very efficiently and proficiently. They checked every day or called to see if we had any questions.

Qualified Remodeling worked on numerous projects for my home along with the deck. Projects included renovation of kitchen and new flooring. These guys did an amazing job remodeling our kitchen! Joe, the owner and his wife Pam, took their time showing us different samples of quartz, backsplash and the vinyl flooring! The project turned out to be a tremendous success and Henry was very detailed putting all the pieces together! The kitchen looks fantastic now! They also did an amazing job power washing the deck, the concrete patio under the deck and the aluminum siding! They also installed new porch lights! We highly recommend them! All of the guys are wonderful and very easy to deal with!

QR was top notch! They held our hands as much as we needed through the total bathroom renovation, suggesting cabinets, shower fixtures, flooring, etc., etc. The service is so personal and they get to know your taste and needs. Responsive to all texts and calls. The workers were fantastic-methodical, super hard working, responsive and diligent, as well as courteous. My remodeled bathroom is a beautiful gem! My husband said, "I love Pam and Joe!"

Joe & Palma Barone are a very professional contracting team. They helped me with ideas & solutions to the variety of seasonal repairs that my basement needed.
