"It is true that Will utilized another contractor to complete the job (installing the shower) because I TERMINATED OUR WRITTEN WORK (FIRST TIME DOING SO) AGREEMENT DUE TO HIS CONSISTENT ATTEMPT TO DELAY PAYMENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR.I completed the installation of the shower wall tiles and grout , which is the first part of our work agreement, then I sent 2 - 3 messages to Will to pay us as per our payment schedule in our written agreement. He ignored my messages and did not respond. In my experienced, Will intentionally ignored me as he did before. He even told me after signing the agreement that he will pay me after the work is completed, which is contradict with our payment schedule in our agreement. We had 2 written agreements (1 for demolition and installing durock, 2 installing tiles and shower door) and both agreement were emailed to Will days before we signed. In those agreement I detailed the scope of work, costs of materials, costs of labors, time and date to complete each project. There were additional work/ change work orders which was not included in our original agreement. Will fully aware of it and he approved it before we perform the work. I first noticed Wills unprofessional behavior in our second meeting on February 29th and also in our previous meeting after that.He made some strange statement and asked weird questions which I have not been experienced before. He asked me to work at night because they are working during the day.He also asked me whether I have done any work while the customer are not at home.I immediately told him that I do not mind whether you are there or not, I have a responsibility to do the work that is in our agreement. I have lots of customers that they give me the key for their house. I have customers lives in another state and I go do the work at their house or rental property. I also have customers that they take days off so they can be home. I do not want the job if he does not trust me. He even scolded me for not saving the existing shower head and the faucet, while he knew that he threw them to the trash.I told him that He asked us to removed it during the demolition because HE will replace it.We removed it and placed it in his carport. Two weeks later he texted me whether I saved it and I reminded him that HE THREW THEM IN THE TRASH. He blamed me that its my responsibility to save it and I reminded him that its specifically stated in our written agreement that he is responsible to remove and protect any belongings/parts/furniture prior the work start. I removed it and placed it in his carport, and why he scolded me while he knew he threw it into the trash. Will did not mention that I lost $1232.00, paying with my own money for his bathroom tiles. After installing the durock on February 23rd, Will and his wife asked me to order the tiles for the shower wall. They told me that they cannot install the tiles themselves as planned and they wants me to do the installation. They found the tiles they like at a very famous home appliance store. On Monday February 25, I searched the stores website to order the tiles and found out that the tiles IS NOT IN STOCK. I have no doubt they knew about it, so I texted them right away and they asked me to order it, knowing that they have not pay me any money for the tiles. I spent hours driving back and forth from that store, trying to get a Contractors discount for Will, online researching to see if any stores were around the area that have the tile in stock. I tried my best but it was not successful so I made the order online, pay with my own money and emailed the receipt to Will. Surprisingly Will email back that they prefer to use different tiles and they want to cancel the order. I waited 2 weeks for the store to refund my money back. As a contractor with years of experience, this is a very uncommon and unusual experience for us."

"I apologize that I cannot accomplish what you are looking for but I gave you 2 options of how to do the floor repair. I also gave you the time to complete the work and also the costs of doing the repair for each option. I also understand that you have 2 other contractors bidding for the job. You have one week to compare estimate costs, experience, skill and contractor who has the license to do the work. After one week you still decided to give me the job. If you think my price was high, I am wondering why you didn't give the job to the contractor who bid lower than me. You also told me that its very high humidity in the house because your tenant leaves her window open all the time and causes the laminate wood floor rise. I gave you some tips to do and see if it works. After one week we came back and the wood is settling. I asked you whether you still want to do the repair and you said yes. Your father was there at the house watching us doing the work and he was happy with the work we did. I believe that I did my best, explaining and writing all the details of the scope of work and costs of the repairs on our agreement. Again, I apologize if I did not accomplish your expectation."
