Do not do business with Quality Construction LLC out of Lufkin, owner Chris A. Every nightmare you have ever heard about we experienced with this contractor. The original timeline for completion of our concrete retaining wall and patio with steps was 4-6 weeks. Nine months later the project was still not complete. They had multiple equipment issues. They were actually in jail for a week. Very poor work ethic. Would not show up for days with no explanation. Would often show up at 10:30am and leave by 3:30-4pm. They walked off the job on December 17th, dumping trash in our front yard, demanding more money and a new contract. Even after paying them more money for ;extras; they still wanted more. They wanted the half of the remaining money that was supposed to be due upon completion as spelled out in the contract without completing the job. It was obvious they were in over their heads both financially and technically. They messed up the aggregate finish on the patio and the steps they poured crumbled after they pulled the forms too soon. They did excessive damage to our yard, irrigation system and septic system because instead of pumping the concrete into the forms they drove heavy equipment back and forth one bucket at a time to pour the concrete. I could go on and on with the problems we had with this company. We will never do business with this company again.
