Mr. Spence showed up as promised (on a Saturday), identified problem, offered solution, fixed and finished job within an hour. Used quality replacement sump (cast iron instead of plastic). Offered to return if any issues in future. Highly recommend.

Full job was crawlspace mold remediation and encapsulation. Install an access door window well and weather-proof cover. Showed up on time and worked until he said the job was finished. No cover was installed on access door When I asked him about it, he said he "forgot" to install the cover. Came back with a plastic grate which kind of defeats the purpose of having a weather-proof cover. He said it was the only one he could find. The next time I was in Lowes about 3 days later I saw them sitting on the shelf. I had an HVAC vent cleaning done and the contractor mentione that the humidity in the crawlspace was near 60% which is too high. The agreement with Quality Crawlspace was that if the humidity was still high, he said he would return and install a dehumidifier. I buy the dehumidifier, he installs it free of charge. The installation of the dehumidifier was not up to code and when told it would need to be done right he refused saying that is how he installs all dehumidifiers and basically said if I had a better way to take care of it. He was immediately let go. A second company was called to correctly install the dehumidifier and this company suggested the very large non-dampened vents be removed from my geothermal HVAC system as they were stealing heat/AC from my home and not actually conditioning the air in the crawlspace. Besides, one of the vents had fallen down because it was duct taped in place rather than held up with straps. Second contractor also mentioned that Quality Crawlspace had used flammable spray foam where non-flammable should have been used. Dug it out and installed the correct, up to code spray foam. Dehumidifier was installed with a proper drain, clean out and routed into a gray water line so the discharge would not freeze in the winter months since Quality Crawlspace had it being discharged outside through the foundation and using the same condensate pump as the HVAC system. Quality Crawlspace had also put the very heavy dehumidifier up on foam sections when risers made for this were a better option. The dehumidifier had already made dents in the foam and was no longer level. In checking the crawlspace I see what appears to be mold on the underfloor and have treated it with mold killing spray. Quality Crawlspace claimed this was "staining from mold". Once I treated it, the wood was clean of any staining. I wish I could post photos of the final job product to show my complaints but this site does not permit it. Anyone wanting to see them, please contact me at perfettis@comcast.net and I will gladly share. Sorry Torrez but you had your chance to make things right but your customer service was just unacceptable. FYI: I do have water getting in that access door so I made a cover for your plastic grate and installed roof shingles on it. Hopefully that will keep the water you were supposed to prevent from coming, from coming in. I'm glad some others have had a good experience with Torrez Spence b

Project: Install Interior Foundation Drains or Sump Pump
Our job was a sump pump installation and encapsulation... Torrez was prompt and professional. He sent a detailed estimate the same day, communication was constant and he kept in touch for all concerns related to the project. I felt he responded to all my questions or concerns with candor. In short, I felt confident and informed about undertaking a project with Quality Crawlspace. The work was done expertly and quickly, with attention to quality and detail. They left everything neat and clean. Importantly for us, the cost was effective as we didn't have a bottomless budget. In my opinion, some others who bid the job were quite high or just didn't follow up as hoped. I would highly recommend Quality Crawlspace.
