Kevin installed two outside lights and two fixtures on my newly built porch. His work was excellent, but I was shocked when he informed me that the total cost would be more than doubled, from an original estimate of $285. to *six or seven hundred.* He told me that he would be required to go under the house to hook into the breaker box, taking more time. His final bill ended up at $700., an amount I was not prepared for. I have other commitments that allowed me to pay him $400. and then pay the remainder in payments. I would suggest that any potential customer get a written estimate prior to the start of any work.
