Sump Pump or Interior Foundation Drains Installation
I had a TripleSafe sump pump system installed a few years ago. The installation agreement was to have the system installed in an existing sump area in my boiler room that already had an overflow pipe but no pump (this was the exit point of flood water that would flood the basement) as well as a french drain at my basement exterior door. For 3 years, I had no flooding and foolishly thought the problem was solved. Then I had 2 floods within a single month this summer. This company does NOT stand by its services, does NOT honor warrantees and will NEVER call you back if you try to get a resolution especially if they are negligent, as they are.

I was satisfied with the product, however, I am not satisfied that they do not stand behind their word in regards to the trash removal we had issues with. I recieved my refund after I wrote this rating. I am now satisfied.

"I dont understand. We discussed a payment of $100.00 for use of the dumpster which was issued. I appreciate you mentioning that you recieved the payment. However, I do not understand the rating of 1 out of 5. The work was done well, on time and as explained. The $100 was not a refund, it was to split the cost of your dumpster. The check went out the end of the month as discussed. so why 1?"

Very comprehensive evaluation of our situation, technically the best sales presentation of the solutions. The on site job crew was excellent and the end product was just as stated. Would absolutely recommend this comapny, their solution may not be the lowest cost but is absolutely the most comprehensive.

The salesperson wasn't pushy. He was very knowledgeable about waterproofing and its service. The price was very reasonable compare to the possible lost to water damage. The install took 2 days. I was told four but the job became easier than the sales person thought. Every year a technician returns to check up on the system to make sure it is in best working condition.

Very professional - none of the silliness with 'cheaper rates if you book now' etc. Many basement companies operate like used car salesmen. These guys are great. We had a triple safe sump installed - and love it. Had to have them back out for a minor fix-up with the discharge line - they came quickly and did the work without an issue. Currently working with them for full perimeter water track system to be installed in September 07.

The presentation that I received was the most thorough. Quality 1st's pricing was reasonable and their warranty is reassuring. I will be getting the basement done in a few weeks and am looking forward to having a clean, dry basement. Jeff, their sales rep, did an excellent job of explaining all my options. --- It's been a few months since my project was completed. Even after heavy rainstorms my basement remained dry.

There service tech who came out to look at the problem was amazing. I was prepaired for the used car salesmen routine after the first two companies. They had a detailed computer program to explain every thing he went over. They even mailed a book to go thru the basics before they got there so I was educated before I met with them. They educated me on the problems and causes so I was able to make an educated purchase. The crew, was the hardest working group of gentelmen I have ever seen. I have several properties and these guys worked harder and longer than any other company I have ever hired in the past. Two thumbs up to Quality 1st.

There was confusion over the type of drain to use. The salesman pointed out I had a monoslab floor and had to use one product. The installers said that I had to use another. That product had an impact on other changes I was making. Basement was not swept, or not swept well.
