Matt and his team gave us back the home we had fallen in love with while searching for a home earlier this year. The home was severely damaged by the Easter tornado and the team worked tirelessly to get it repaired (and better than before) in a short amount of time. Matt is extremely pleasant to work with and very responsive. We will be using him in the future for some other updates after we get settled into our home.

This business is extremely punctual, and Matt has done four very different, quite difficult projects for us, all of which came in on-budget and ahead of schedule. Definitely plan to do more with them in the future.

Matt Lewis (owner) is one of the most professional, personable, reliable people my wife and I have had the pleasure to hire. He is detail-oriented, flexible and has high-quality standards. He also clearly and readily communicates when schedules will need to be altered due to circumstances outside of his control (such as when a supplier is delayed in getting him materials). He maintains excellent relationships with other contractors, a characteristic essential to completing his projects on-time and well. He's a person of the highest integrity. If we had another project, we'd hire him without a second thought because we know Matt would get it done right!

They got right on the job the day after we agreed on a price. Had plenty of help. I would hire them again.

While the amount for the project was more than I expected for a 5x6 feet space, the expert carpenter who managed the floor repair and installation was excellent as were the two men who helped him with the work. The floor was compromised by poor construction choices when the house was built fifty years ago. There were sagging joists that had been designed around, and there was no straightforward fix that did not involve removing all the fixtures in two side-by-side bathrooms and a new beam built on robust new support in the floor below. He explained all the options and worked with Matt for an effective solution for the floor alone that gave us a working bathroom until we are ready for such a major install. My wife and I were very happy with the results and grateful for the expert and conscientious work on our behalf.

I hired Matt after getting several quotes that seemed outrageous. I had a huge project and most didn't want to take on something so huge. 2,500 square ft down to the studs. Matt and I designed my home together from the inside out. He took my ideas, and created absolute beauty. His crew are diligent and knowledgeable. His Foreman worked tirelessly for me to make my project perfect. His knowledge and acumen make him a joy to work with, and we even became friends. Their quotes were competitive and they handled everything they found in our 1940's total remodel in stride. Regardless of the issue he can do it. He is a true craftsman, and i'm not sure if I would trust anyone else with my properties. If you're looking for someone that is honest, prompt, and does fantastic work... then look no farther than quality home improvements. Best contractor in Chattanooga hands down.

This company is well organized, efficient and professional from start to finish. Everyone on my concrete project really knew his job. It was amazing to watch and left me very confident that my patio project would be a success! Done in one day with minimal damage to my surrounding lawn. Thank you

Matt and his crew from Quality Home Improvements did a fantastic job on the recent kitchen remodel in our circa 1930 home. I just have to say, this kitchen is beyond my dreams, Pinterest worthy and all things awesome!! Matt came in, listened to our ideas and made them better! With his knowledge and experience he was able to add details that made all the difference. Like cleaning, sealing and incorporating an existing (but hidden) brick chimney into our design- now this brick accent is one of my favorite features! He suggested that we add a window seat in our breakfast nook (now our cat's favorite perch!), he added lights under our floating shelves for a very dramatic look that I just love. When they removed the ancient linoleum from our kitchen floor, Matt assured us that the wood underneath could be refinished and matched to the other wood in our house - I was so skeptical but the refinished existing wood floors turned out beautiful and they're another favorite feature! He even took an old vase we purchased from an antique shop and made it into a pendant light for our breakfast nook! Matt was very thoughtful about any old house features we wanted to preserve and conscientious about old house problems we might run into (that we would have been oblivious to), most importantly electrical issues which he and his electrician addressed promptly. I was so impressed with the crew Matt has working with him - they were just so nice and their attention to detail was top notch! It's so scary to hire someone to come in and rip your house apart - the hardest part (by far) was deciding on the company - I'm so glad we chose Quality Home Improvements!

Quality Home Improvement has done two different projects for us. In 2015 Matt and his crew did a remodel of our master bathroom, including a large corner tile walk-in shower (which they did a beautiful job on), a new vanity with new cabinets and granite top, and a new linen closet. This year, 2016, they did a 16 x 26 sunroom addition on the back of our home. They tore out the back walls of our existing kitchen and dining room and now we have a large open great room with an island for the kitchen sink. Now you can stand at the sink and look out through huge windows across the back and side of the sun room. They did a fantastic job! We would highly recommend this company. Now here are some of the reasons we were so impressed: 1) Matt is very knowledgeable and very visionary. He has the ability to see what things will look like and gives excellent advice. 2) Matt is a perfectionist so makes sure his crew does things exactly as they are to be done. If any mistake is accidentally made (which happens in any building project) he makes sure it is done again right. 3) Matt is a good communicator and very punctual. He answers texts and phone messages promptly and when he says he will do something, he does what he says and when he says he will do it. If for some reason he cannot make an appointment on time, he contacts you to let you know. He also keeps you very informed as to the progress of the project. 4) Matt insists on things being left nice and clean at the end of each day of work. He has trained his crew to be very particular about this. They are good about covering up furniture or floors that could get messed up. 5) Matt and his crew are very punctual about being at the work site when they say they will be. 6) Matt is very fair about his prices and wants to do everything to satisfy the customer. 7) Matt and his crew are pleasant to be around and we found them to be honest and good workers. As I have already said, we would highly recommend Matt and his crew, Quality Home Improvements.

I think this company is the best remodeling company in Chattanooga for many reasons. They need to get 20 stars for their review. I hired Matt and his crew to convert my 4th bedroom into a main bathroom. They did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations 100 fold!! The owner of the company met with me promptly. He listened carefully and enthusiastically to my ideas and then had a quote to me the very next day! His prices were competitive and He presented an honest payment plan. They came to my house promptlu on time every day. Matt, the owner and his crew were always extremely professional, polite and respectful of me and my property. They tried hard to keep construction dust to a minimum and cleaned up everyday before leaving . Matt was attentive to any questions or concerns I had and took them very seriously. He always answered every phone call and always followed through and did EVERY THING he said he was going to do. They all treated my project as if it were their own home! Matt was flexible and willing to think outside the box. His vast knowledge of carpentry allowed him to customize my vanity and my tub, beautifully! Matt consulted me at each step in the process. If there ever was a problem Matt was a quick and creative problem solver. the result was a project that went very smoothly. He and his crew were trustworthy. highly skilled and hard working, despite the brutal summer heat, without ever complaining to me. In fact they tried to respond positively to all my requests. I felt very comfortable having them in my home. The company is aptly named because, once they started The owner focused on my project with a passion for high quality craftsmanship .He carefully supervised his crew and only accepted the highest level of workmanship. It was obvious that he took great pride in a job wall done. He proved himself to be a man of trustworthiness and integrity . In the end, he made my dream of a remodeled bathroom, come true!!! So I highly recommend Quality Home Improvement. I hope that you are lucky enough to hire the very best contractor in Chattanooga!!!!

Matt took on the project of finishing a home for us that was only dried in. He has exceeded our expectations on this job. Matt is very professional and has a vast knowledge of construction. He has offered many suggestions which have been very helpful to us in the finishing of this home. He keeps the area cleaned up after every job and respects nearby homes and neighbors. He keeps appointments and returns all calls in a timely manner. He also continues to give us updates on everything. We have and will continue to highly recommend this gentlemen to friends, family and anyone looking for a reliable contractor who exhibits vast knowledge of construction. If anyone would like to see his work I am sure he would be happy to show you what he has done with this project. Five stars are not a high enough rating for Matt. If there was a twenty star rating we would give him that.

Horrible experience! I hired them to install Sheetrock in 2 rooms including the ceilings. They totally screwed up the ceiling drywall. The owner, Matt Lewis, admitted to us several times that his crew screwed it up. After 7 weeks and several attempts to fix it, they quit before the job was fixed or finished. In addition he threatened to call the county home inspector as revenge if I gave him a bad review. I'm writing it regardless because I don't want anyone else to have this same horrible experience.

I had rot and mold issues that affected structural beams in my house that I was unaware of. Matt and his team diagnosed the issue immediately and because mold was revealed, he treated it with the utmost importance and urgency. Unfortunately, when it rains, it pours and right before Matt and his team began work on my rot and mold issues, I experienced a roof leak as well. Matt and his team addressed all issues and put all my concerns to rest. His team is very pleasant to work with, and does a thorough cleaning job once job is complete. I would highly recommend Quality Home Improvement, LLC to everyone. I will be calling on them again for any future projects I have.

Matt is our local "Holmes Makes it Right" We were suffering from a "contractor gone bad" situation and Matt and his Team came in and reworked the entire project. Not only did he provide a quality product, he provided peace of mind, reassurance, followup, and genuine care and concern. He completed the unexpected kitchen tile project as well as the complete master bathroom and closet remodel. I cannot say enough positive things about his work ethic and quality workmanship!!! THANK YOU MATT!!!!

This was a detailed project and nail biting experience for me... Matt and his workers done a great job. On time and cleaned up after each day of the job. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Matt did the most amazing job! After experiencing a total nightmare with the first contractor I hired and eventually had to fire, I was totally stressed. The home is an older home and probably would have been considered the "ugly duckling" on my street. I knew it would be hard to bring to life the vision I had for this home. Even with pictures, drawings, and one on one discussions with the first contractor I was finding out this was so true. After I met and talked to Matt, he knew exactly what I was trying to achieve with the new look to this home and assured me I would be 100% satisfied. Matt and his crew had to tear down and redo everything that had been done in the previous three months to the home. What took three months with the first contractor and still nowhere near completion, it only took Matt and his crew only two weeks to complete. Matt has a very dedicated crew. One of the two weeks the workers worked in the rain every day. I was completely satisfied with the end results. I've received so many compliments on the house. My father was crippled over 40 years ago and wasn't able to do the house what he dreamed of doing. He passed away almost two years ago and thanks to Matt and Quality Home Improvements helped make a dream come true. Matt was able to complete this project in time for my mother returning from North Carolina. To see how happy she was to see what had been done to this little home was priceless. So was I 100% satisfied? The satisfaction goes well beyond that. Be sure to see the before and after pictures I submitted to Matt. Thank You Matt!!

This is the third, but largest, project Matthew has done for us. Our deck is huge, 30x40 ft, and any projects that large are bound to experience "bumps in the road", but the crew handled them without difficulty and we now have a beautiful living space addition. Matthew and his crew are Craftsmen in the quality of their work and professional in all aspects and we will hire them again.

The workmanship on the project was very good. They consistently showed up on time every morning and finished the project on schedule. Matthew was very attentive to any questions and concerns that we had as the project proceeded. Also, the crew was very polite and always cleaned the bathroom and entry areas before leaving each day. We would not hesitate to hire Matthew should we need additional work done to our house.

Matthew did several jobs for me on both my home and rental property. He painted the outside of my home which was really high and hard to get to. He repaired rotten wood damage. He also installed kitchen counter tops, cabinets, and flooring. He and his crew arrived on time and worked hard to get finished. They were very detailed oriented and did an excellent job. I will use him again with any future project.

I am a single mother and needed my kitchen remodeled. From the moment I met Matthew, I noticed how respectful and knowledgeable he was. From start to finish, he and his crew where always on time and did exactly what they said they would do! Unfortunately, that quality is very hard to find these days. After each day they would clean up the job site and they would try to be as little as intrusive as possible. Matthew was always available if I had any questions day or night. I love my new kitchen and I would not ever hesitate to use this company again! Being a single mom, I appreciated their professionalism. Thanks so much for a job well done!
