DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!! RUN!! This company is an abomination. Everything started out fine with Michael Russel, salesperson but took a sharp turn when he dropped the ball. The day they were supposed to arrive to do the insulation they did not show up. This was for my business - we had emptied much of the 1600 sq ft garage to be able to have it insulated and operations were haulted. The second day they showed up and left after an hour because they did not have the appropriate insulation to do the ceiling (which I did not find out until I called to ask why they left). Then they told us we would not be able to get the agreed upon R-value for the ceiling so we had to go with a lower R-value which will now cause my heating bill for the business to be higher in the garage. However, there was a customer who was higher priority so they would not even be coming back that day. I could not keep my business closed for weeks waiting on the correct R value now that we had it all emptied out over the yard and my house. My fiancé also took these days off work to be here to assist in the event anything further needed to be moved - which we were expecting to only be half a day or so and he ended up losing 2 full days of PTO. Finally on day 3 they showed up to finish and shortly later had police in my driveway. The police would not say what they were there for even though they were in MY driveway. Finally after asking around to people at the company and the employees here I found out that the employee familys lives were being threatened and he felt it was a good idea to call the POLICE to MY PROPERTY where my HOUSE AND BUSINESS is located. Not only are the neighbors now alerted and wondering what is happening thinking I am involved in something, but my address is now associated with this employee whos family is having their lives threatened now implicating me in this drama. They offered $100 off which is INSULTING after wasting 3 days of my life, the stress they cause

Response from Company:

we have resolved this with this customer. After going over all the issues we believe all her concerns have been satisfied and both parties have left amicably.

They came out on multiple occasions, they went in the attic and checked out the attic, they gave me a price, we agreed on the price, I signed the contract, but never heard from them again... I waited 6-8 weeks to hear back from them and then I gave up. I am glad I did not give them any money!

First of all, I would not call them pros. I met with two different companies and decided to choose Quality Insulation because we had used them years before. The salesman came out did some measuring told me they would put 5 inches in the ceiling and 3 inches in the walls. I received the contract electronically signed it and waited for a date. The date was set the workers showed up but couldnâ t start until they rebuilt their spray gun they said they were having problems with. It was a very hot day and when I finally went up to see how things were going the worker said he was still having problems with his gun but things seemed to be going ok he said. I actually felt bad they were covered in sweat from the heat. I went back doing what I was doing and next thing I new they were gone. So I went up to see how things turned out and was not happy to see the mess they left and the horrible job that was done. I am no expert but had talked to some people about spray foam insulation and watched a few videos on You Tube and new right off this was not done correctly. Very uneven, bubbling all over, huge gaps, and areas that werenâ t even sprayed that were supposed to be. I immediately called the salesman and got a voicemail so I left a message. Then I sent a few text messages to which he replied can you send me some pictures which I did and I advised him that his employee told me they were having problems with their equipment. When he finally replied he tried making some excuses and I told him I measured a few spots and in places there was only 2 inches on the walls and ceiling. I asked him if this was something he would like to look at and then I sent another message saying that I think he should come out to look at it. The more I looked the worse it got. I then took a video and sent it to him and he said, based on the video we may be able to skip the site visit to which I replied no I would like you to come out and see for yourself so we can figure out a plan of what corrective actions should be taken. He said he would be out on Monday June 8th. He showed and admitted there were issues and he would have a crew come out to resolve the issues. The crew came out I showed them some of the issues, (gaps, holes, areaâ s that hadnâ t been sprayed, holes that needed to be filled. I went up at one point and everything seemed to be progressing. Once again I turn around and they are gone. I went up to check it out and things seemed to look pretty good. A few days later I went up to do some work in the room scraping some of the insulation off areas where it shouldnâ t have been and found some areas where they just covered over a hole with a single line skim coated instead of filling the holes, areas that were still low and areas that I will have to fill with canned spray foam. I usually donâ t submit reviews but when you are paying a lot of money for a job you shouldnâ t have to chase people down, or have them return only to not finish the job correctly. I am very dissatisfied,1 with the poor workmanship, 2 the representation of the company who didnâ t really seem to care they take your money and thatâ s it. 3 they say they are professionals but they did not show it at all on this job. In closing if you are planning to hire a company for a job like this 1. do lots of research, videos, ask lots of questions, ask for pictures from previous jobs they have completed, do not pay by credit card if you have a problem you have no recourse, pay by check with 50% down and remainder when job is satisfactorily completed if you can, read over your contract entirely, and donâ t rely on past jobs these companies have done for you, employees come and go and so may their quality. I would not recommend Quality Insulation of NH.
