I would never hire them again or recommend them to move a dog kennel.

Belongings were delivered 400 miles in about 8 days. I guess that is about average. The pickup was fast. The delivery was on a very large truck. One box was dropped, but nothing broke in it as it only contained books. Everthing else was intact. The large truck for the delivery made it difficult to unload it. All's well that ends welll, and it ended okay.

they were nice when i first spoke with them. noone actully showes up to your home to give you a written estimate. also, the estimate is under 4,000 then when everything was said and done it was over 6,000. also when i had first spoken to the rep i told him that there would be two spots on both ends of the trip. he didn't remember that and that cost an additional 150. don't use this company.

It was over 3 weeks before furniture was delivered. Poor or lack of communication by Quality Van personnel. Items were missing and damaged upon delivery. Was charged twice the quoted estimate. Was not able to collect on the damages nor the missing items when filed with "moving claim arbitration company," which was recommended by the moving company, because we signed off on delivery.

I was very please with Alan's flexibility and attention to my needs. The movers who picked up my things were friendly and efficient. Delivery won't be for another few weeks so I can't comment about this yet. Quality Van Lines prices were the same from two other vendors. Furniture delivery several weeks later was very efficient. Quality did not even charge me anything extra for storing my furniture longer than one month. Unfortunately, part of my bed was damaged, so I am now dealing with filing a claim for this.

I actually preferred the unreliable box mover.The guys were nice enough just hard to understand. And they were SLOW. And when they got to the new house they wanted payment before they brought in the funrniture. They put things odd places and left all the most of the TV "boxed". Since the move ran late I didn't get things were i asked and they left my coffe table on it's side weird.

I moved from NY to CA. My rep, Alan was friendly until I came back to him with a complaint that the movers in NY didnt have the correct measurements. He laughed at me, said those numbers are FINAL and hung up. The movers asked for more tip so that they can low ball the measurements, that didnt help. When my stuff arrived, I shot a video, measuring everything and sent it to a lady. They reviewed it and gave me a refund on the diff. Movers were nice. Alan, whos laughing now.
