Asbestos Testing
We needed to have our basement tile tested for asbestos. Ed was very friendly, easy to work with, and knowledgeable. He clearly explained what the next steps would be if the tile tested positive. Would recommend!

I hired this company based on previous reviews. Agreed on a price for ASBESTOS, LEAD and MOLD - only to find out after the fact that only 2 tests were done. While his mold test was comprehensive - when I sent a text to inquire as how he knew the mold was only isolated to one room - No response. Since he was only there for a half hour inspection - I got what I paid for .... During an email exchange to dispute the contracted fees, this contractor consistently felt the need to have the last word as if it would change my opinion. Clearly his emails have been set to SPAM.

wE WERE GIVEN THE WRONG INFO ON THE PHONE AND THEN RECEIVED A CALL A FEW HOURS LATER TELLING US THE INFO THEY GAVE US WAS INCORRECT AND WE WENT TO ORDER OUR CARPET AND TOLD THE CO EVERYTHING WAS OK. THANKS ALOT

"Customer wanted money back saying we incorrectly gave them information on the results of their test. The could not understand that 2 tests were conducted on the same tile, one for the tile itself and the other for the mastic on the tile. The mastic came back negative and the tile positive for asbestos, a report detailing the results was given to them explaining everything and they still insisted the information we provided was wrong and wanted their money back, they stated if we dont give them their money back they would report us and give us a bad rating.. Work was done,results and test report was provided to customer."

Ed Giannetto was responsive, engaged and generous with information and advice. His quote was the most reasonable of the five, partly because he did not push the "extras." Our basement was completely inundated by Sandy and the first floor also had a few inches of water, resulting in mold on two levels. We are now mold-free, thanks to Ed and his crew. I recommended QualTech to my neighbor, who also had a good experience.

Abolute professional. I contacted Qual Tech on a Sunday, not expecting to hear from them until Monday but Sunday afternoon, Ed the owner of Qual Tech called me and answered all of my questions and concerns about the air quality in my home after having my hardwood floors polyurethaned. He gave me information I needed and didn't ask for a fee. I can't say enough about the professionalism I received from him. I would absolutely refer Qual Tech Corp to my friends and family.

"We did test, they picked us over other companies, because we we're willing to run the tests until 9:00 pm at nite because the were in a hurry, as soon as we got the results, we called and spoke with the wife and told her everything came back negative,and she seemed very happy and thanked us.Apparently she never spoke with her husband an dtold her we called with the results and sent her the copies of the results as well."

Quality Air Environmental was the best! I cannot say enough good things about them. Ed came right over on the very night that we called. He diligently ran the two-air test to check for asbestos and took a sample of our tiles. He was very professional and knowledgeable about all things pertaining to our problem, and to asbestos information in general. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who either thinks they have asbestos or has it. He even called us as soon as he got our report back from the lab, so we didn't have to worry any longer. You can have confidence in this company.
