Reviews
Write a ReviewThis was an extremely difficult job replacing some fascia boards that had deteriorated over time. The project was very difficult to access. The quality of the materials used and the workmanship was outstanding. After seeing the amount of work and skill required to do this job I would say that the price I was charged was more than fair. Quentin Beard Construction is a firm that I would call first on my next project.
A very physically and mentally challenging project. It cost more than anticipated, but true to my values, I did the project as promised. Jim was very understanding and cooperative. I will be more than willing to serve him in any remodeling project in the future.
Quentin was punctual and very helpful. He told me I didnâ t need as much work as I thought He then efficiently made the necessary repairs.
Good man, he is there when he says he will and he stays till the work is done correctly.
Keith had a very challenging roof design with numerous transition challenges. I enjoyed working with him and creating solutions that would satisfy his needs while managing the crew he had chosen to do the usual work. i would do it again for him any day.
He is qualified to handle VA work and is proficient in the handling the required VA paper work. He and his crew were respectful of all of my family members and on time as well. They cleaned up every day leaving as little as possible behind every day. I recommend him for all adaptive construction .
Ability to figure out the previous bad wiring was a little slow. Nice guy!
True professionals. Once you meet them you feel comfortable knowing that the project is in good hands.
Partly my fault. I didn't get pricing up front. If I had, I wouldn't have hired them. To their credit, the man was on time. All I needed was a screw removed from the folding door track. He had to use MY screwdriver - apparently didn't have a Phillips with him (what kind of handyman doesn't have a Phillips screwdriver???) Then I was hit with "Usually I charge $175.00, but I am only going to charge you $75.00 because it was just one screw." Can you imagine my shock? Yes, I paid it, but felt ripped off. I did check with other handyman services and was mostly told they would have charged me a nominal fee of maybe a trip charge.
I never cashed the check due to the miscommunications and it was a salesman who no longer works for me who represented me. I was sadly not happy with the whole affair.
This is partly my fault. I did not ask how much they charge. Handymen usually charge by the job. I will credit him for showing up right on time. He was here approximately 10 minutes. He removed ONE SCREW so that my folding door would close. He even had to use MY phillips screwdriver (apparently he didn't have one with him!!! He then told me that he normally charged $175.00, but would only charge ME $75.00, since is was just one screw. I paid him, since he did do the work, however I feel extremely ripped off.
Very professional. High quality work. Good value.
Quentin is an awesome, amazing, super nice and very profession contractor. I called him in the late afternoon with a leaky sewer connector pipe problem. Quentin came over early the very next morning and checked out the leak. He came back with the parts needed and repaired the pipe straightaway/. Quentin did an excellent job and demonstrated a very high level of general contracting skills and capabilities. I will be recommending him to my neighbors for emergency home repairs or any of their prospective home repair projects. Quentin is a real value and a genuine asset to our community.
