Lawn & Yard Waste Clean Up

I hired Josh Quiles and Quiles Lawn & Landscaping to do a landscaping job at my home. He requested half down to pay for the materials and was to start the job the next week. He seemed like a nice young man and stupid me, trusted him with my $1,000 down payment. We had a contract with a stated start date. He never showed to do the work and kept making excuse after excuse for weeks why he couldn't make it. He would say he was coming and then not show. I took days off of work waiting each day for him to come and had to keep texting and calling asking where he was?, when was he coming?, was he now going to come the next day?? and then he NEVER showed. Kept promising he would show that afternoon or the next day, and the next day, and NO SHOW after no show. He LIES and is a cheat, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with him!

Hired for a patio redo and the patio is now in worse shape. They laid the stone and polymer sand right before a heavy rainfall. The sand was washed away and stones heaved up. Then were not willing to rectify the mistake. The stones are sloppily placed and are dangerously uneven. It looks like I paid an elementary school kid to come and put stones in my yard.
