If you are in the market for kitchen remodeling, steer clear of RAMCO. All oversight of the quality of workmanship is left to the homeowner, and RAMCO gets offended when you question the quality of the job. Also, materials used were subpar, with visible cracks in the cabinet doors days after installation. Drawer fronts literally pulled off when opened, due to installers using double sided tape and brad nails. Cabinet doors were left to clank into one another, as RAMCO had never heard of resistors, apparently. Trim along upper valance (where cabinetry met the drywall) was left with large crack. When homeowner questioned installer about this, he was told "You can apply some caulk in it." All trim cuts were done with a table saw with either the wrong blade or a dull blade and left jagged cuts that had to be replaced (but were once again left to the customer to bring up). Finally, the owner of RAMCO puts the blame on homeowner, bringing up the possibility businesses "get taken advantage of" when we pointed out the issues. Additionally, we had ordered some half-moon lazy susans and we had to fight to get them. Owner had audacity to mention to us that they cost a lot (when we were the ones buying them). RAMCO had never heard of them, and it was up to the homeowner once again to do the research. When the bathroom granite was installed, it was left to the homeowner to do all the plumbing himself. And, the project is ongoing still. What was promised to be a 3-5 day project has taken past 18 months at this point. The owner of RAMCO insists this is incorrect, "you have a completed kitchen," yet this is untrue because there are many things that need to be fixed.

Sunroom or Patio Enclosure Building Service
It was one of the worst customer service I have encountered. They lied to me and did not follow through until I said I was cancelling the order since they had not even sent it to the manufacture yet. They said it was too late. I am still waiting to have my room. It has been 7 weeks. Supposedly they will not take longer than another

Cabinets Reface
On October 6, 2016, Ramco salesman met me at the house and showed the product that would go on all of my existing cabinet boxes. On October 10, 2016, Ramco came back to the house to show my husband the wood veneer, the cabinets, drawers, knobs, hinges. We decided to move forward and sign a contract for all wood kitchen with the understanding that we were not ready to finalize and order. Ramco said that they would review the entire order before running my credit card. I called Ramco several times and left messages that we wanted to stop the process until I figured out what I wanted. I still had not figured out the whole plan especially my color choices. On October 20, 2016, Ramco came over to the house and measured my kitchen. I told Ramco that we were not ready to order the cabinets. Ramco had me sign another document but said it was for my file and that Kristin would go over everything with me and draw everything out before they ran my credit card. On October 21, 2016, Ramco secretary called to get my credit card number. I gave it to her, clearly stating that I have not had a final review with Kristin and am not agreeing to order anything and the contract is not valid until I talk to Kristin. The week of October 24th I proceeded to call Kristin. For several days in a row she was never in the office, she never returned my calls. The week of October 31st I continued calling Kristin. In early November she finally called me at 4:55 and said she was going home and promised to call me the next day. I told her do not order anything. She never called me. And that was the last time I heard from Ramco. We thought they didn't want the business and were blowing us off. Due to the lack of communication we began to interview other contractors as we didn't think Ramco was still engaged. Then on November 28, 2016, I got a credit card bill in the mail for $30,150. I called Ramco that day and they said everything was ordered. I said why am I just hearing about this now? Where are cabinets? They didn't know. I said what color? Didn't know. What handles? They didn't know. On or about November 29, 2016, I called Home Depot customer service. They heard my complaint and elevated my case to Customer care. I never heard anything back. On or about November 30, 2016, I went to Home Depot store and spoke with the Store Manager. He looked up our case number and called Ramco. Then he said you are stuck with Ramco, try to make the best of it. On January 23, 2017, Ramco showed up at the house and started clearing out our cabinet doors and drawers, throwing them away and prepping the surfaces. On January 24, 2017, Ramco was back at the house putting on the veneer pieces. My husband and I were shocked! They were not putting wood on our wood cabinets; rather they were gluing MDF boards on the end caps and putting vinyl tape on the faces of our cabinetry. This was not what we were sold. We learned that the painted wood veneer does not really exist. Because wood venee

Representative came to home on appt. call. He presented his products with explanation about the products and recommended what he thought would be best for our situation. We chose the product that we wanted and the rep. made out the contract. The company stayed in contact with us about the windows delivery because it was a special order. As soon as the windows came in, the contractors were on the job. The windows were installed in a timely manner and there was no mess to clean . Only one thing is off key. One window ledge is slanted and anyone can tell that it is slanted. our overall experience was great. Just forgot to send in review for Discount on 5 windows. Hope this is not too late to receive discount.[sincerely].

These guys did a wonderful job. the team that did the measuring was the same one that did the installation. It was obvious that they worked together because everyone knew what to do without a lot of discussion. When they encountered obstacles, they did whatever they needed to to fix them -- including a trip to the hardware store to get materials to build out a frame so that the new window would sit out properly.
The windows were available at the early end of anticipated time and the installers were here shortly after that. We have a security system,so they had to deal with those wires, which they did very effectively. And they were neat and tidy. They put cloths under the windows to protect the floors and took their trash outside with them. Ours was a two-day install and they cleaned up at the end of the first day and the second and hauled the old windows and all of the installation materials, packaging and scraps away. We are very pleased.
The installation was delayed a few days due to rain, but when the two men came out, one of whom was the owner's son, they were friendly. It seems that our patio project was a training site for the younger installer. The project took about two weeks because some of the metal was damaged and had to be replaced. The installers, for the most part, kept the area neat when they left each day.
Overall, I was a little concerned that the construction wasn't being done as professional as possible. When it was completed, we noticed several items that needed attention. Here are the repairs:
? Metal edges sticking edges sticking out at several corners on the inside of patio.
? Several pieces are not fitted close together allowing gaps which can be seen while sitting.
? Almost all of the screens are wobbly and need to be tightened.
? One lower panel is slightly irregular in the design pattern from the others.
? On the outside, all screens need excess trimmed off.
? There is a hole in the screen-door ? upper panel.
? The vent drips when it rains.
Since September 2014, I have called Ramco just about weekly to see when someone could come out to make the repairs. Although the person I spoke to was friendly each time, nothing was ever scheduled and it is now May 5, 2015 at this writing. I still want the repairs completed or half of our money returned so we can hire another company to complete the repairs. I truly hope this review helps someone to not make the same mistake we have made in signing our name to the project completion list and taking and believing their promise that someone will return in a few days to complete the repairs. Thank you.
Our house had original aluminum windows that leaked air badly. We selected Ramco double hung windows after getting quotes from 7 window suppliers. Once we decided to spend what was necessary to get quality windows and installation, the entire process was effortless and enjoyable. Kristin did a great job ordering & confirming the windows and scheduling the installation. I was home during the installation, but really didn't need to be. There was nothing I would have had them do differently. Eric explained the process while his team was working and made sure I understood what they were doing and why. There is now no air coming in through the new windows (and no heat in the summer from the sun). The windows and patio door are beautiful and work perfectly! Bottom line is... we got what we paid for. We couldn't be more pleased.
Great! Although installers had a hard time removing old windows. Through not fault of their own. They had to break the glass to remove old windows. But they took care to lay down tarps to catch the glass. Professional. Windows look great.
At first, there was hesitation with the original presentation of the quote and estimated price, due to the laid back attitude of
the sales person. After learning of how unsatisfactory the original sales pitch went, the company owner (Les Stone) took it upon himself to provide a more thorough explanation of the requested product (new windows) through a call lasting several hours - a complete breakdown of the cost of the product, and a thorough demonstration of the product (as to how the windows open both at top and bottom,
have theft deterrent locking mechanisms, flip out for cleaning, are incredibly thick for bouncing back heat and cold, and also keep out moisture between the panes). The second sales pitch was much more professional, as should be - considering the company owner came out - and left no doubt as to the schooling of the first salesman that would most likely occur. The owner knew the product
backward, foward, up and down and was able to answer every question. While it was a great pitch and Mr. Stone was extremely personable, in the end it was the product that sealed the deal. Make note - the product is not inexpensive - but for the quality, the fact that the product has a lifetime transferrable warranty to a new homeowner (should that ever come into play) and that within
the warranty, should any damage occur to the window - it's fixable/replacable at no cost, the product is worth the cost.

Had the installation team been as thorough and punctional as the company owner, the rating would be "excellent". The team was
certainly professional; however, the team was behind schedule by several hours so in order to ensure that the windows (11 - for the entire home) were installed as promised, they worked into the evening dark (as they were installed in early winter) and did a less than thorough clean-up job, leaving bits of debis behind, tools behind, and failing to confirm that many of the window screens were not placed properly on each window. As the small issue with the screens was caught by the homeowner and reported to the company, full sets
of screens are forthcoming, at the correct measurements, to ensure each window installation is 100% complete. Small details but had I been the installment team, I would have explained the delay and checked to see if the owner would need to reschedule instead of slightly rushing the job. Please don't mistake - the windows themselves were installed to perfection and there are no complaints
at all there. It is simply rather a bother to still be finding (2 weeks after the installation) pieces of debris strewn through the yard. Thankfully it is winter and nothing is getting tossed back out of the lawnmower during summer grass cutting.

As there is no longer any cold air seeping into the home at all, the windows were installed to perfection and are quite nice to look at, I
could not be more pleased with the product. As of yet, I am not sure of the promise of energy costs decreasing but with the difference in temperature now that the home is retaining more heat, I expect the bill to be lower (even if only some) soon. I am also pleased with the level of professionalism and knowledge of the company owner as well as his personable nature and willingness to ensure that his (potential and then) customer was 100% satisfied with all parts ot the deal. Also wonderful - the payment plan! A great weight was lifted once the possibility of installment payments came into the deal as well.

I have already requested other remodeling quotes from RAMCO and hope to use them for future projects. I would certainly recommend or use them again - 100%.

The carpenter's work was excellent. They took the time to carefully fit my wood trim without any replacement. My only concern was with the triple window that took longer to complete because of having to special order the trim between the windows. Most importantly, I love the windows and am so glad that I went with the full-frame replacement. These windows face southern exposure and they really have made a big difference this past summer in helping to keep my home cooler.

We are very pleased with the step-in tub. The details that Mr. Les Stone and I discussed is exactly what I received. The employees at Ramco were always easy to talk to and kept me informed on when the installers and others would arrive and whom they were. They also kept me informed of any delays or changes. The installer was very knowledgeable of the step-in tub. A couple of weeks after the tub was installed, we received a call from Ramco stating that they wanted to replace the cover at no extra charge. Ramco stayed true to its reputation. I would recommend Ramco and plan to use them in the future.
