Jon was really nice and quick at diagnosing the issue in our basement. He was here on time and I would hire them again to do more work. Rob the owner was also easy to talk to over the phone and telling him the issue we had.

Our water heater was well past its lifespan and at initial contact, Rob was a pleasure to talk to and provided us with well explained details on the set up on our heater install. We unfortunately didn’t get the name of one of our installers but Thomas and the other man who installed our new heater were both wonderful, quick with the work, and incredibly polite. I’m convinced now after their stellar work that we have never had a hot shower in this house.

Excellent job. The installation of my water heater went very well. Rob, the owner of the company, was very polite and answered all of my questions prior to installation. Thomas, the technician, was very professional and polite and he arrived on time and quickly and efficiently started the installation process. He was very knowledgeable and provided responses to any question I asked. His workmanship was impeccable. I highly recommend this company for any repairs needed.

R.A. Mechanical sent knowledgeable person who explained what he was doing and gave advice for future prevention. I will use them again in the future.

Did a good job, everything went right

They worked hard

Price was good, work was good and workers were good.

Thomas was amazing. He cleared my drain and also answered any questions that I have. He also was great with my little dogs who were curious. Highly recommend.

They did a great job

Fast and efficient

Very responsive to text messages, job done pretty quick, no complaints.

They did a great job.

My 21 year old Gas Water Heater finally has stopped working and I started getting quotes for the replacement. I contacted 4-5 companies via Angi and 3 more from Google. I texted pictures of my old Water Heater to potential contractors and had multiple phone and text conversations. Rob, the owner of R.A. Plumbing & Mechanical, offered me a competitive, but not the lowest price, but our 2 phone calls and his detailed explanation and answering my questions - that's what convinced me to give this project to him and his team. Rob explained me the difference between brands, models, and tank sizes, discussed a tankless solution, and offered to do the work on the same day, which was important for me on December 1st in Chicago. Rob emailed me the detailed estimate with a convenient way to accept it electronically and after I accepted it, he sent the team who did a great job. I highly recommend R.A. Plumbing & Mechanical and personally Rob for any plumbing projects you may have.

Rob the owner was awesome, he gave me a firm quote over the phone, and had a service tech at my home in 2 hours. Andrew the tech was very thorough, and preformed a awesome install.

They did come out, handle the project on a timely manner, in good time. I am satisfied currently. Thank you.

It was done professionally. But I wonder what benefit I got as a paid member of Angi? Do I need to pay the annual fee for getting this service?

Professional and courteous, job completed and cleaned up on time and within estimated cost.

They came right out and rodded the line until it opened, had enough rods to get the line opened
