I called with an emergency repair after a tree limb went through the roof. They were able to come out at 9 AM the next day and fixed it on the spot. They were very courteous.

Exterior Trim Installation and Replacement
Replacement of window sill on front of the house. Pleasant and knowledgeable. Showed up early. Work quickly and compentently. Cleaned up thoroughly. Charged fairly. Will be coming back during the winter to do some interior work. Couldn't be more pleased!

Doors Repair
Instead of telling me he couldn't fix it...he rigged my pocket door. Had to come back a second time to work on it. Overcharged me & agreed to give me back $200.00 of the $350.00 he charged. He gave me $100.00 & told me he would mail the other. I called & asked about it a week ago...still no $. I have a picture to offer of the work. I don't understand how people like this are in business!! Very frustrating!!

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
Payment was a problem. Apparently likes to work for cash and insists on checks being written on local banks. After I made an exception by writing a check at a different bank than I usually use I asked that he wait until the next business day to cash so I could wire money into the local account. He agreed repeatedly, then proceeded directly to the bank to cash the check from my house, maybe 10 minutes after agreeing to wait one day. Left quite a bit of debris beneath the house. Unable to truly resolve the problem I had them out for, though we did make some improvements to the support beneath the kitchen, so not a total loss.

"There was no payment problem me and jason agreed that the job would pay in cash because I cut $200.00 off the frist price it was a $3500.00 job I done the job for $1000.00 and still gave him a five year warrenty on the job. I wish I could make him happy but I didn't. My other rating will tell it all. I'm so sorry this ever happened."

Tile: Ceramic and Porcelain - Repair
He overcharged knowing I needed this done right away. But that is just business and I don't hold that against him. He and his coworkers were all polite and courteous. Did the job timely and seemed to do a great job. I was satisfied with the tile work at first. A few days later the grout around the tiles in my shower started to peel out. I looked at the label of the grout container they left and the fine print says "not for use in showers!" Now it looks terrible. Maybe an honest mistake but not one I would expect a professional to make.

I was satisfied with the price quote and the investigation Raymond and his associates performed to determine the cause of the leak. We were also pleased that they had the materials on hand to correct the problem during the same visit. It rained the very next day and Raymond called to find out if we were dry - that customer follow-up is very important to me. The crew was polite and professional.

It turned out that the job was substantially larger than anticipated and Raymond was extremely helpful and competent in meeting the needs of the larger job. Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
While estimate was 100 cheaper than other roofer, I was not impressed overall. We have 3 sections of roof and he did not even attempt to check / seal the 3rd section. His job took no more than 15 min. I was also promised a 5 year warranty on repair and have not seen anything in writing.

Super fast response---great explanations of what his recommendations were--could have easily tried to sell me other services, but didn't--just an honest, affordable quote----great follow up and fantastic work--cleaned up after, great work and lifetime warranty...Couldn't ask for anything better. Would definitely recommend Raymond if you are looking for an honest, hard working guy who does great workmanship.

Doors Repair
R B Construction was good in the fact they came out to our site quickly and were very professional. My low rating was due to the quality of the work performed and the cost (which averaged around $200 per hour to simply repair a door frame. When they left the job it was not completed as nail holes were not filled in and chalking not applied. Calls I've made calls to them about these matters which not meet with a response to myself. I'm very dissapointed wih the poor results I got despite the excessive cost of the job.

Raymond told me when he would be there. Was there on the dot, gave me an honest estimate and did the repairs the same day. He is honest and very dependable. It you are looking for someone that will not take you for a ride, then call R B Construction. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
