Rob and Rob Jr are the best plumbers on Staten Island. We were referred by a friend for what we thought was a small leak under our sink but turned out to be much worse. We panicked but they came right away and assured us that they had everything under control. Rob and his son are perfectionists. They go above and beyond to not only fix the main problem, but to also look around and make sure there are no other potential issues. They definitely saved us thousands of dollars in future repairs and I’m so happy that we trusted them to work on our kitchen, install our water heater, and connect our gas appliances. They may have even saved our lives, since they found that our dryer vent was disconnected and we were being exposed to carbon monoxide that other companies never detected during inspections. My family and I are forever grateful for Rob and Rob Jr. if you are looking for a master plumber, these are your guys. Good luck finding someone more honest and professional than they are. I hired them 2 years ago to install 2 eater heaters, they did a great job and gave me a fair price. recently I hired them to fix my Kohler Rochelle toilet. The water kept running. They suggested I buy a new toilet but this kind discontinued and I couldn't find the same color to match the bidet, tub and sink. I thought if I buy new sink with cabinet new bidet and toilet would have coast me around 2000 to 2500. Well this was too much for me. So I settled on fixing it, The part was almost $ 400 if I order it but Rob said he will get the right one. I agreed. I waited a week and a half for the part, apparently the store employee didn't order the part so Rob asked them to order and ship it over night. He knew I was not able to use the bathroom. Rob came with his son on 7/1/20 at 11 am. started working immediately. Finished at 2 pm, 3 hours work. He not only replaced the part and soldered the flush handle because he couldn't find that part. Readjust the water line and reset the bowl in bed of plaster. He did a great job. I made a mistake, I should have asked him to give me an estimate but I knew he is a good guy and from prior experience he was fair. He also should have told me how much it is going to be . I expected the most even if he over charge me $ 1200. When he gave me the bill I almost had a heart attack . $ 2000 dollars???? I could have changed sink toilet and bidet for that price. I wouldn't have bought Kohler , other brand less expensive. I paid it. I called him after he left because I really felt cheated and taken advantage of. I am disabled on a very limited income .My stupidity that I trusted him. When I called him and he started screaming at me, he said that I had 2 masters working on the toilet , him and his son and apparently my type never dealt with masters. I told him that he did a great job but I felt that he over charged me. I told him I am thankful for what he has done but $ 2000 dollars!!!! my son was shocked when I told him how much he charged. Rob started screaming at me and said " YOUR SON...YOUR SON" and kept on and on that no one would have done this job except him " THE MASTER" he said will give me the check back and adding insults. I said no , I never wanted him to do a job for free, I just wanted a fair price. I always pay never take advantage of people. I couldn't take his insults anymore, I said thank you,God bless and good buy. Rob taught me a good lesson, NEVER EVER TRUST ANYONE. Get an Estimate . I never write bad reviews even if I was unhappy with a job but this time I just couldn't . Rob is a very good plumber, I give him credit. I still think highly of him . I hope that the toilet keep working for years to come.

What's the best way to market a service? Show up the day your called and fix the hot water furnace so it's warm again. And do it rapidly and for a good price. Thanks Robert Works even better when there is a family party and 3 Staten Island homeowners there who all ask for contact info afterward.

When you hire RB Mechanical, you are hiring Bobby and son Rob and that is who you get. They are expert professionals and perfectionists. The first time I called them, years ago, they did not know me, and yet they came as swiftly as possible ,in the dead of winter to resolve my steam boiler heating emergency. They have since replaced that old steam boiler, replaced rotted pipes, cleaned sewer lines, etc., and they always leave the place clean and neat. Bobby and Rob are also gentlemen! Do not hesitate to call them.

Most people on this site know that hiring a contractor for any kind of job is a daunting task - there is a lot of second guessing and unsureness. So after much research and agonizing about who to hire I decided to go with RB Mechanical and I am extremely happy that we did. The quality of work performed by Rob and his son last Friday to replace a leaking water heater was phenomenal. A great father and son team that work very well together, both are very knowledgeable and personable. Rob pointed out several problem areas in and around the water heater that should not have passed inspection when the house was built. Not only did he fix the problems with no extra charge but he was very patient and explained in layman's terms aspects about the job that may have flown over our heads if not for his patience and great communication skills. I would definitely hire them again for any future projects and have even taken a picture of their business card so that if any neighbors have plumbing issues I will have the information at the ready. To sum it up this is a company that stands by the quality of their work and it shows from the very first phone call to the minute they finished the job.

Very happy with the work Rob and his son did. Also had a split unit, heat/AC installed by another employee. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them.

Father and son came to my home today to fix two leaks. One was a bathtub faucet and one was a hose spigot. The spigot took less than 12 minutes and it was just a washer that needed replacing. 2nd job took roughly 50 minutes. So just over an hour of actual work and it cost me 600 dollars. On top of that, bathtub was dirty, black marks on my bathroom walls and bedroom walls. All their tools were laying on my hard wood floor. Why not bring a tarp or other protection. They did fix the problems and they both seemed nice until he gave me his price. I do put some blame on myself for not asking how much before they started working, never I thought 600 dollars. From the time they left up until an hour ago I asked several people some including contractors how much should this job should have cost and tops was 300. I mentioned I own a few houses so I could use a reliable plumber to help me out but at these prices how would that be possible?

Rob and his son not only treat their customers with respect, but they know what the issue is and they do the job from A to Z. They also leave the area the way it was very clean. They have done numerous jobs for me in the past from major to minor work and all the jobs they did was incredible. I would not think about calling another plumber, these guys are great at what they do and I highly recommend them.

Family business with family values. They treat your home like it s their own. Most of all, they describe in detail the work they are going to do (no surprises) and their work is top notch. I would definitely use them again!

What started as a clogged sink, ended up into a major sewer repair project. Rob and his son were excellent at taking us through the process. Even guiding us and supervising a sewer to street replacement. They have come back several times after to check in on us and make sure everything is working properly. Their customer service goes above and beyond. They make you feel like part of the family! The pride they take in their craft and workmanship shows.

I've done this type of work in my youth. Must admit, their finished product is like art work. I now, have this tendency to show off their finished job to my friends, as my own. But I'm sure, they'll realize this superior workmanship couldn't possibly have been done by me. So, Bravo! A job, well done!!

Rob and his son Rob were very professional and extremely knowledgeable about my steam heating system. They assessed the issues and repaired it in a timely and thorough fashion. They picked up on other issues that other Plumbers were clueless about. I have to say they will be doing other plumbing work at my home in the near future.

They are all pro's at what they do. His son, Rob and associate Mike , were knowledgeable , professional and courteous ! They cleaned up the work site after each day and worked when they said they would. They were honest and trustworthy . I already recommended them to a friend . Rob Sr. explained in detail what had to be done and why. He pointed out some little things that I wouldn't have known about and fixed them the correct way. Good people , doing honest work!!
