Rich called me promptly the night that I searched Servicemagic and showed up right when he said he would the very next morning! This was kind of an emergency and he handled it like the Pro that he is. His pricing was very reasonable and his work was great! I was more than greatful to have him there and I will be calling him again to do more work at another location! Thanks Rich and I will be calling you again in the next month!

Rich answered and returned his calls promptly and came to the house when he said he would. He was very personable and knowledgable. We had two other professionals in previously who could not figure out why the thermostat we had purchased for installation didn't work and what to do so we could change the old thermostat to the new. Rich knew we needed a different thermostat and offered to purchase it at the supplier store for us.The price was reasonable and he came back two days later, on a Sunday to install it for us, although it is not level on the wall. It works great and it is wonderful to wake up to a warm house in the morning.

He was very prompt and attentive to my problem and kept working at it to make sure everything kept running even at no cost when he had to return. He is very knowledgeable and found problems with a new house where the builder did not install something properly in the furnace. He was aware of the recent new codes even if the house was built 2 yrs. Ago.

He fixed a crack in a pipe of our air conditioning. Rich was excellent, and I would recommend him to everyone!

Rich was on time did quality work. There were some challenges with installing this AC on my old furnace, but Rich stuck with it and got it resolved. Communication on progress ststus throughout the project was excellent.

Update as of 4/3/12 - RCA's mechanical seems to be out of business. I was owed a $500 credit towards future work but have been unable to get in touch with them. Rich and his team were conscientious and meticulous in their work. While the project was quite expensive, I feel I got good value for my money. The equipment installed was good quality. I didn't feel pressed to buy more than was needed for my project. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure that everything was working correctly before leaving. I will likely be using RCAs Mechanical Systems for future projects, and would recommend them to anyone looking for an HVAC installation
