DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hired them to to repair my electric attic fan that started making a horrible racket and finally locked up. RCH Electrical came out quickly and replaced the motor. They charged me $157 for parts and labor, which seemed reasonable. My fan is operated by a thermostat, so it only comes on when the heat in the attic reaches a certain temperature. Given that, there wasn't any way for RCH to test the fan after they replaced the motor because it wasn't hot enough in the attic for the fan to come on, and you can't make it come on by flipping a switch. Several days after they replaced the fan motor, it became hot in the attic and fan came on like it was supposed to; however, it was still making a loud noise. I spoke with Rusty Houck again and RCH came back and, according to my husband who was there, replaced the rubber bushings in the fan to stop the noise. The next time the fan came on, I noticed it was still making an awful noise. I called Rusty several times and never got an answer. I left a couple of voice mails on his cell phone and office phone. I No response. Then on April 26 I made a video on my cell phone and sent it to Rusty's cell phone so he could hear first-hand the noise the fan was still making. It is now May 4 and he has never returned my texts or phone calls. Home Advisor's Contractor Solutions Department attempted to contact RCH, but to no avail. Now Home Advisor has opened a formal complaint against RCH. I am so disappointed how this has turned out. Rusty was so nice in the beginning and was eager to get the fan repaired a second time. I'm angry that I paid $157 for nothing. I am awaiting a call from a Home Advisor Specialist to further handle this complaint.

I called them for estimate. The problem resolved with just tripping one gfi outlet. He charged me $99 for coming and waived the repair fee mentioning that he did not have to do anything. Your website should mention that there is estimate fee.

Techg was knowledgable , very personable and fixed the problem in short time and we were back in business.....will call again

RCH gave me all the information over the phone that I needed to make a decision. They came promptly and within their minimum charge had corrected our 2 problems. I willl call and/or recommend them anytime.

Project was trouble shooting electrical outlets and initial contact was within 24 hours .Work was scheduled within 2 days and completed a liitle earlier than expected. Great experience with technicians and very timely completion at reasonable cost.

RCH was very forthcoming and I love the fact that time was taken to also educate us on the problems. I assumed that the price for this service was adequate but was not able to compare due to time constraint of needing to get electrical problem solved. However we do believe pricing was fair. The project was completed in a timely manner and we would hire again if pricing for work is comparable to the average pricing for that type of work.
