He did a great job inspecting the property. Checked the roof and the crawl space. Gave a lot of insight on condition and repairs needed. He also video taped the entire property which is very helpfull so you can review the property at home. He was on time for the apointment.

The inspection itself seems OK but about 1/3 of the time was spent videotaping the results of the inspection and the camera didn't work. Buyer wasn't happy because they attached more value to the effort than the $10 that was offered. They also didn't want a retape of the inspection since the inspection and the re-taping would now be separated in time. The Seller also wasn't very enthusiastic about having us around for another hour or so. Don't think I'll rely on video tape again.

"We have found that taping our inspections have saved the buyers more than double the inspection fee. In one case a home that was taped showed a $20,000 chandelier, but when buyers moved in the fixture had been replaced with a $2,500 light fixture - the sellers had to replace the original fixture."
