We hired him initially to install windows which he did very well, but then we had him install exterior doors. He picked up 3 of 4 doors, 2 which he put in correctly, 1 opened the wrong way. The fourth door he picked up and STOLE FROM US, including the installation fee which we had ALREADY PAID him for. He WILL take advantage of you, if he can, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE OLD.

Rob gave me a quote on 6 Oct and by 15 Nov the job was completely done! I had a 30+ year old porch that I removed and needed to be replaced. Rob and his crew showed up two weeks early (after letting me know, of course) and started work. Work started early (7:30 ish) everyday and they were respectful of my property, efficient, and friendly. In just a few days, they had my new deck completed - very professional job, everything came out great - I am extremely pleased with the entire process, from the very first day that I met Rob to final completion. Outstanding results! (I'd post pictures, but Angi seems to be having an issue with that - I'll try again after I resize them). I highly recommend R H Bruce and his crew - top notch all the way!

The contractor did excellent work at a reasonable price. After finding numerous flaws with the current siding, I decided to do the whole house. I was able to talk with the contractor as the work proceeded and he answered all my questions. He corrected several issues that contributed to the degradation of the existing siding to ensure the new siding would last. After installing the siding he painted the entire house and added extra touches that really set the house off. Needless to say I am extremely pleased with the high quality of work, attention to detail, and the overall project.

RH Bruce Home Improvements responded quickly and came prepared to our meeting with samples, prices, etc. I was able to choose exactly what I wanted and he submitted his specific quote the next day, including a schedule of payment broken down by services completed. Other quotes received from other contractors were vague and inconclusive. Robert was very professional and was easy to work with. They started from scratch on he end of my house! Robert installed cement supports for beams and was meticulous in matching the porch roof shingles and fascia to my existing house shingles and fascia. All lumber and supplies were custom cut. RH Bruce did a great job of cleanup. Weather in March is unpredictable but they worked with the weather and I have my dream porch which is actually better than the plan I originally submitted). In summation, I am very pleased withy RH Bruce Home Improvements, I liked the gentleman, and I will definitely call him again for future projects!

STAY AWAY. You have been warned. Ok, here goes. So we needed 7 new windows replaced in our home and I used home advisor to help us recommend someone, and of course you go with the highest recommended person and that person was RH Bruce. Long story short I am not big on bashing people or there work, but we have had repeated issues with his work. After the windows got installed and paid for he has had to come back repeatedly because we keep having issues with them. Before I begin my list. This company has horrible clean up. They left my basement and my backyard a mess. They used my backyard grass to empty and discard all the concrete and nails and screws. Ok, first issue. One is that one of the windows, the glass when first installed was broken, & yet to be fixed. Second the windows werenâ t sealed right, we could feel air coming in and had him come by and spray foam them from the inside, but that wasnâ t enough so my husband sealed them himself. Third the outer trim that goes along all the windows doesnâ t match. All 7 windows trim looks different. Fourth all the windows outside again were not sealed right. One of the windows you could slide a piece a paper through the top inside and it would go all the way through to the outside. Fifth, some of the outer trim along the windows just comes off. It wasnâ t nailed or screwed. Sixth since install we have had 2 other windows glass break and all we get from Robert is radio silence. He now is telling us he would only replace the original broken one at install not the other 2 but he has said to us that it is probably breaking due to the pressurization, altitude so again not our fault but we have to flip the bill. And to replace the glass was $138 at B&W Glass and he refused to Venmo me what I paid. Seventh as we have been doing clean up around each window both inside and out we keep finding more and more Issues with each window and so many screws and nails. It is also very hard to get any response from him. Itâ s even harder to have him own up to his work and come fix it. I just want to say donâ t hire him or his company for any work. They suck at clean up and even worse at the work they do. I WILL INCLUDE PICTURES if need be.

He answered all my question promptly, he showed up on time. He did job quickly.

zero communication, when I forced contact he always had excuses and treated me as if i was a bother... i paid in full for the project and his answer was, "you arent my only customer". but would would never give me any feedback...... my suggestion is to NEVER USE ANJI OR HOME ADVISOR

The siding on my home was never installed correctly or with any great workmanship but RH Bruce corrected all this with the work they did. They are very professional and take order in what they do. Thanks

Last Summer we had siding installed but it took 2 months for the contractor to respond. The work was sat1sfactory at the time but within 6 months the some of the siding blew off. This happened 3 times and was replaced the 1st time in a timely manner but we are still waiting for the current blow down to be replaced. Robert Bruce is full of a lot of excuses a promises not kept.

Of course I would have given them all 5â s but my wife needs more communication. We are extremely happy with the finished product. It was timely under difficult and unplanned circumstances. The workmanship is extraordinarily pleasant to the eye. I am already planning my next project for these folks.

He was polite, on time and worked hard. He also cleaned up all of the installation mess, which I appreciated.

This contractor is in high demand and booking six months out but he does beautiful work. Our Trex deck and egress window exceeded our expectations and really upgraded the house.

This was a whole-house + fence hail repair...all of it; roof, siding, gutters, shed roof, 2-car garage door, windows, again I say, all of it. RH Bruce came through. We'd hire them again, no question. You should, too.
