My microwave began having a problem a week or so ago. It&apos;s 8 years old, so I wasn&apos;t totally surprised. I assumed I would just replace it. The problem with that approach is that this isn&apos;t just &apos;a microwave&apos; - it&apos;s a Thermador MBBS/01 microwave, which must do way more than just heat and cook things quickly, because as I shopped for a replacement, I found that an equivalent Thermador product was going to cost me $700 (not a typo!) and what&apos;s more, I found that the trim kit for my MBBS/01 unit would not fit the MBES/01 replacement unit (current model) so that tacks on another $400. I was quite shocked to say the least! So, I decided to investigate repair options. I found Hazim and emailed him some info. He responded within a day or so, and we set up an appointment, to take a look. Hazim quickly diagnosed that this was a magnetron problem (which I had sort of already figured out by reading symptoms and info online). He said that he could fix it for somewhere < $200 most likely. That sure does beat $1100 in my opinion! He ordered the part, then showed up a few days later to do the replacement. He was quick and efficient. Microwave&apos;s aren&apos;t terribly complex machines, so I felt fortunate that he was able to quite a reasonable price for the part and the labor. Overall, the labor charge was a bit higher than I anticipated for a repair that took a total of 45 minutes, but I&apos;m happy with the final outcome so I won&apos;t worry about it too much. I&apos;d call him again if the need arises. Price listed below is $120 for labor and $64 for parts. One other repair person that I corresponded with said "It will probably be over $300". That seems silly given the parts price and the fact that the repair takes very little time. I&apos;m glad I connected with Hazim.

Service man found a fire hazard in my dryer that could have caused a major disaster. He went the extra mile and probably saved our lives. He didn&apos;t just put a patch on the problem. He found the cause and did more than that. This guy is the kind of repair person I want to deal with!

Hazim arranged to service my refrigerator at a time convenient for me. He analyzed the problem, replaced the faulty part and made several suggestions for better service from my refrigerator. He was prompt, courteous and charged very fair rates. I highly recommend him.

Hazim came to my house in Greenville from Raleigh, NC. ! 1/2 hours away) He is the ONLY one that actually took of the back of my fridge and looked to see what the problem was, He found the problem and let me know that the fridge was not worth fixing and gave me suggestions as to better refrigerators that lasted longer than the one I had. He could see that I was upset about having to spend so much on another one. In the end, he REFUSED TO TAKE ANY PAYMENT from me as he knew I was going to have to soon spend quite a lot on a new refrigerator.
