We had a really good experience working with Bob. First of all, he is responsive and reliable. He showed up every day at a specific time and was really communicative the whole time. He tried to save us money whenever he could, which we really appreciated. His price was so reasonable compared to other quotes that we got and we ended up with a beautiful master bath remodel. After he was done, there were a couple of places where we wanted some touch-up and he showed up promptly and took care of them. I would highly recommend him!

Bob did an amazing job. He is timely, reliable, and professional. We must have gone through 4 or 5 other places, when Bob came along, and we knew he was the right person for the job. Bob was always on time and was on the jobs the entire time he was here. He promised to have the restroom complete and done by a certain day and that promise was met. This jobs was a complete remodel of a basement restroom, and Bob was able to complete the entire various work we asked of him. He has become my go to person for jobs around the house, and I will gladly recommend him to anyone looking for an job to be completed honestly, timely, and professionally.

Please be careful with the type of project you choose for this contractor to complete! He may be nice and punctual but his craftsmanship is shoddy at best and it will cost you WAY more to fix the aftermath then you pay for the original job. I chose this contractor based on his ratings and am shocked by the horrible job done in my house! Bathrooms and tile are definitely not his forte! 3 months later we are still trying to correct the issues he created. He cut the floor and shower tiles in my house with a dry saw leaving me with more than 1/2 inch of dust on everything I own and my brand new basement carpet was ruined. Texture was sprayed all over the adjacent bedroom walls, floor, doors, bedding and electronics with no attempt on Bob's part to clean up - very unprofessional! We have had to replace/re-do leaking pipes under sink and in the wall of the shower, the vanity light fixture fell off the wall and had to be replaced. The toilet was not level or caulked and had to be redone and the worst part - not only do we need to have the grout re-done but the shower tiles are actually falling off the wall. The whole thing needs to be redone! And the kicker - I have gotten NO response to my request for a partial refund- which I think is more than fair considering the cost to fix the mess he created. He may be good with other projects but please protect yourself and your money when it comes to bathrooms and tile work - choose a different contractor!!!

THAT I AM DISPUTING IT WITH HOME ADVISOR. WHAT SHE IS NOT TELLING YOU IS THAT THE FIRST EMAIL RECEIVED, SHE WANTED ME TO SEND HER A LARGE SOME OF MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT I NEVER SAW AND HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY PROBLEMS. ALL ANY HOME OWNER NEEDS TO DO IS LET THE PERSON WHO DID THE WORK COME BACK AND CORRECT THE ISSUES. THIS HOME OWNER WAITED ALMOST SIX MO. BEFORE SAYING ANYTHING AND JUST WANTED ME TO SEND MONEY. WHEN YOU CONDUCT YOURSELF LIKE THIS INDIVIDUAL . THEY HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BE THEMSELVES . IF YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL WERE PUT IN THIS SITUATION, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? JUST HAND OVER MONEY. I DON'T THINK SO."

I do not wish to be mean in this review, so I will just get to the point. Bob needs to retire. His work is over priced and not worth what we had to pay him. The project he did was a disappointment and I am worried that the 4 open corners he left in the floor will lead to mildew and rot. I didn't bother calling him back about the issues with his work because I don't want to deal with him again.

Bob is really a terrific guy--very professional, punctual and reliable. He has done three jobs for me and he continues to be my "go to" person for tile, both kitchen and bath, and general help with other things. I really appreciate his straightforward approach--he is up front with his advice, but works to find the solution the customer is wanting. On the most recent project, he was really creative in designing a kitchen backsplash that is just gorgeous--from my showing him a picture. And he is just really nice! We hired this guy due in part to all of the great reviews he had. Please be careful if you hire this guy. He did a terrible job on our bathroom floor. The floor was improperly done - the grout is breaking apart and is uneven. He has come by twice to try and fix it but never gets it right. Then he argues with us and says he doesn't see a problem. As we speak our bathroom has broken , separating grout and it doesn't look like he intends on fixing it. He actually told us to touch it up ourselves! Out shower was left with white stains around the tile that we can't get off. again he says he sees no problem and tells us he left us cleaner (which he never did) to clean it ourselves! He asked for his final payment before he was finished. yes - I stupidly gave it to him- and then he left our place in a mess, poorly and unprofessionally done. He also would walk all around our house with his work shoes on, staining our carpets and floors with grout. Don't know how everyone else got such good service, but I feel we were taken for a ride. I really had trusted this guy. Now we are out time and money.

"IT IS ALWAYS HARD FOR ANY CONTRACTOR TO GET A BAD REVIEW BUT WHEN IT'S NOT AT ALL AN HONEST ONE IT MAKES IT EVEN WORST. YES I DID HAVE TO RETURN FOR THE FLOOR GROUT BUT THE REASON IT CRACKED WAS BECAUSE THE HUSBAND CAME IN THE DAY AFTER IT WAS INSTALLED AND PARTED HIS LEGS AND SHIFTED HE WEIGHT FROM SIDE TO SIDE ON A FLOOR THAT WAS NOT DRY. THAT'S THE REASON FOR THE GROUT. YES I ALSO RETURNED IN NOV. BECAUSE THERE WAS SOME WALL GROUT THAT I MISSED AND IT WAS CORRECTED. THEY SENT ME A PICTURE OF MORE GROUT THEY FOUND BUT IT DID NOT SHOW A PROBLEM. THIS PICTURE WAS SENT AFTER I WENT THERE LAST WEEK TO RESOLVE THE FLOOR ISSUE AND THE PICTURE SHOWED NO PROBLEMS AND I GAVE NO ARGUMENT. AS FAR AS PAYMENT GOES THERE WAS A BALANCE DUE FOR $250.00 THAT I WROTE OFF AND TOLD THEM I WOULD FOR CUSTOMER AGGRAVATION. THEY DID NOT PAY ME I FULL AND THAT WAS BY MY REQUEST. THAT'S JUST A FLAT OUT LIE.. DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THERE CARPETING AND SURPRISED BECAUSE THE HOLE HOUSE HAS HARDWOOD FLOORS. I ALSO STATED TO THE HOME OWNER THAT I WOULD BE HAPPY TO COME BACK NEXT WEEK TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH THE WALL GROUT BUT NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. AGAIN IT'S ALWAYS REGRETFUL WHEN THIS TYPE OF AN ISSUE HAPPENS BUT WHEN IS'T NOT A TRUE STATEMENT IT'S EVEN MORE DISHEARTENING."

Bob was great. I really appreciate someone that shows up on time and does the job for the price they quote and the time they quoted. Bob is very trust-worthy and willing to do things your way when you ask. I've already recommended Bob to my co-workers. My only improvement that Bob can make is to make the end product more presentable; otherwise Bob is fantastic!

Bob is a fantastic guy. Working with him is a pleasure and a breeze. If you need to change anything on the fly there is no problem. Bob is relatively discrete and quick with his work. While there have been some mistakes, he always owns up to them and fixes them. If I ever have an odd job or just need someone with experience to knock out some remodeling, Bob is the guy!

We hired Bob because he had many good reviews on this site. However, we were very disappointed. Bob is very cheap and he works very fast. Perhaps because he had another job lined up, he rushed through our remodel. Here are some the issues: Bob dropped a tile on our new bathtub after installing it. This caused $172 in damage which Bob offered to work off. He said that, although he carried insurance his deductible was too high and he couldn't afford to replace the tub. He did some repair work in a second bathroom. This subsequently leaked and caused several extra repairs. While Bob was remodeling our Master Bathroom, he caused three leaks into our kitchen below. He stuck a little compound on the hole in the ceiling but never offered to repair it properly. The bathroom leaked again and we are still trying to locate the leak. Bob's work was so shoddy and sloppy that we had to hire someone else to redo a lot to the caulking and grout. I could go on..... We paid Bob all but $200 of the agreed upon price and then let him go. As I said, we hired someone else to redo and finish the job because, as often as Bob came back, he was unable or unwilling to fix things to our satisfaction.

"NOW THE TRUTH, I DID DROP A PIECE OF TILE AND IT DID CHIP THE TUB. I OFFERED TO REPLACE THE TUB BUT THE HOMEOWNER ELECTED NOT TO BECAUSE IT WAS VERY MINOR AND THEY WERE WILLING TO EXCEPT THE REPAIR. THE LEAK THEY ARE REFERRING TO, I FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION , I BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION. IT'S IN THERE MAIN SOIL PIPE AND UNRELATED TO MY WORK. MY PRICING IS REASONABLE AND STAND ON MY RECORD AS DOING EXCELLENT WORK. THE OWNER CAUSED A BAD LEAK IN THERE SECOND BATH NOT ME, JUST BLAMED ON ME. IT WAS A BAD O RING. I OFFERED TO REPLACE BUT THEY DECLINED."
