A part was identified as being needed on the first call. It was sent out the next day and the tech arrived the following day. The second tech realized a different part was needed, which he had in his vehicle. It was installed and the freezer ice maker issue seems to be resolved. The tech did a good job of explaining what and why of his efforts. He left everything in clean shape.

I have mixed feelings but would recommend this contractor because of the way our problem were resolved. I confirmed with the company that we would receive an estimate before any work was completed. The technician didn't do that and completed the work and charged us a large amount for an appliance I may have replaced. I spoke with a company representative who confirmed the technician didn't give us an estimate and immediately offered to send us half of the amount we paid back. I appreciated his honesty and sincerity at trying to make this right with us.

The service person was competant on getting my toilet replaced, but he looked at the tub drain and said he did not have the tool to remove the screw in the drain, but told me how to do it so I did it myself later. He was a little late but did the work promptly and did clean up. He did call his boss and was told to adjust the bill. In the future if the service person is running behind because of traffic or the previous job took longer it would be nice for the person wating to get a phone call from the service person so the extra time could have been used to get other things done until he was to be at the job.(1-4 hr window, arrived in 5)

They came out same day that I called for the service. However, it still leaked after the repair was done and they wanted to charge me again for the fee just to come out and look at which was a little irritating as it should have been fixed the first time.

It is our policy to inform customers that a follow up service call MAY be chargeable if the leak is not related to our original work. In this case, our part was bad so there was no charge."

The buyers of our old house were very picky about a potential backfill prevented problem with our sink and dishwasher. RJ Miller was more than accommodating in writing multiple letters explaining to the buyers and their agent that there wasn't a problem. Great service!

They were responsive and timely, however they tried to upsell me to a $1700 water heater (incl. installation) and a $79/month service plan -

"Thank you for your rating. Our technicians typically suggest a replacement option if the unit is fairly old. In this case, most customers opt to replace the 15 year old water heater than repair it. As for the service plan, many customers like the plan because, in your case, your repair would have been covered for a minimal trip fee of $29.00 rather than the regular price you paid for the work."

Bryan was good to work with. Unfortunately the plumber that was initially sent out did not complete the job properly so another plumber had to be sent out. The most disappointing part of this experience was that the temporary fix we did ourself before the plumber arrived did not leak. So basically, we paid over $200 for work that we could have done ourself. The nice part about the experience was that Bryan was really great. He apologized for the problems and even followed up to make sure everything was still going all right a week later.

Agent who called to set up appointment - very friendly, knowledgeable. Informed us, up front, potential costs. Installer arrived on time - also very friendly, answered all questions. Performed the work right away, thereby waiving fee for service call. I would definitely use this company again.

The service person did a great job, however I think this was extremely expensive for the amount of time and extent of work that was done. I also did not like that I had to pay a service fee of $59.00 just to get an estimate. I would recommend them but also state they are very expensive and did not appreciate getting a brochure telling me or justifying their cost. Overhead costs a part of doing business and should not be pushed onto the customer. If our company operated that way, we would be out of business.

The work was very well done. Roy was very professional and respectful of our decisions and informed of our choices. I thought the price was not a good value, but we paid for the convience of having it fixed immediatly. Thank you and the work was wonderful, the price was a little high.
