R J Williams has had to date approx. 1300 customers put their trust with us in flooring, roofing, siding, decks, gutters, windows, and basement remodel( Although I would love to say all 1300 customers were 100% satisfied, we have had 1-2% where there was some sort of delay or communication issue, etc that arose and unfortunately so. ) We ensure quality performance on each project. R&J Williams Inc. has worked with townhouse associations 4+ yrs. and have references available for the past 9 yrs.(I do not post these references on my site due to privacy reasons.)

Rod is a very nice man and very pleasant to work with. His roofers did a good job. There was a problem with the skylights, but Rod had his roofers fix the problem to our satisfaction. All the work was done in a timely manner. Rod usually takes a few days or so to return a phone call.

Rod was very pleasant to work with and the job was completed as expected. The crew showed up a little late, but didn't affect the time-line or the outcome. The project was completed on-time, on-budget, and looks great! I would use R & J Williams again for any house projects.

While Rod was a friendly person to deal with, the quaity of the work left much to be desired. Not only was a no longer used satelite placed back on top of the roof after being requested to leave it off, the gutters were a different size than the original leaving 2-3 inches of blemished facia showing around the house. In addition, Rod (the owner) negociated the price with the insurance contractor. Rod made a $4,000 error on the form, which he tried to make me take the burden of. In the end, the satalite is still on the roof with permanent holes in the brand new shingles, the gutters/facia look awful and we spit Rod's $4,000 error.

"The satellite was re-installed accidentally. We will be happy to remove it and replace the shingle under it when warm weather once again arrives(hopefully sooner than later, brr.....) The gutters are the same seamless 5in. K style as previously hung, the fascia needs washed with warm soapy water w/mild bleach. I did make an unfortunate math error."

Rod was very professional and yet made the experience personal as well. The subcontractors he brought on were very good at their craft and Rod was also able to iron out all differences that occurred. I would recommend R&J Williams to anyone looking for carpeting, roofing, carpentry, etc.

Mr. Williams was only accessible while trying to make a sale. Once installation began, customer service was very poor, with multiple calls required prior to receiving a return call. The wrong amount of carpet was ordered, requiring 2 install dates. Additionally, he has failed to complete the job to my satisfaction or repair the damage incurred during the installation process, after he had agreed to complete those repairs. The outstanding issues include: poor quality/visible seams on stairs with gaps, poor quality/uneven edging, damage to walls requiring sanding, painting, priming, and an unauthorized credit card charge. Bad experience.

"R&J Williams staff and installation crew has had difficulty reaching client by phone in the past and we still can't get a return call from the current week after 3 calls to remedy the issue. Yes we own up to the problematic seam and are willing and able to repair the problem once we receive contact from client. We (@R&J Williams) request client to call us to set time to remedy. 9-29-07"

We used Rod for the install of some laminating flooring in a bedroom. Rod was very professional throughout the entire process. Remained in constant contact with me as to the status of the project and completed the project when promised. Floor looks great! Will be contacting Rod for our kitchen remodel in the future. Missed appointment by 24 hours. Created VERY tight time frames for me due to delay. Owner finally gave me installers phone number, and forced me to coordinate project. Installer & product were good, promised deliverables and follow-up very poor.

Sent in contractors that we had a communication issue with, didn't carpet the correct rooms, and carpeted around a desk that was obviously suppose to be moved. Took longer than expected, and when any of these concerns were brought up to Rod, he laughed. Carpet installed is already starting to show scuffs, and the seams are starting to come up. Would not use again. Atleast hes cheap.

"The customer did not move the 12ft long desk as they agreed. The client wanted very inexpensive carpet. You get what you pay for in quality. R&J recommended a more quality covering."
