Carpet Repair, Refasten, or Stretch
We hired them to stretch carpet,and they did do that. They even did a pretty good job, however they noticed early in the first room that we were not going to get our desired result because of an issue with the underlying pad and tape. We told them before they started this was a stopgap until we replace them in the future (we just bought the house and wanted to save that expense for later), as long as everything is in good condition. They didn't tell us until they completed 4 rooms that there was nothing they could do to remove some of the bumps. If they had told us, we could have saved a decent amount of money by not having them complete the other 3 rooms and we would have started looking at replacement carpet and possibly hiring them to do the installation. Now I will not be doing that. They did a fine job with the work they were hired for, but they should have told us about the issue before they started the other rooms.
