Rodney was punctual and provided a fair price. He is knowledgeable about many brands and takes pride in his work. If you are looking for a quick turn around please understand that sometimes their can be a delay due to parts being available.

My experience was horrible. I would not recommend this man to ANYONE. I had what I thought was a simple repair- the door handle on the oven needed to be reattached. Rodney broke my glass, making the oven unusable. Fine. Things happen. But I had to repeatedly follow up with him about replacement, where he was on ordering the glass, etc. He finally came back over to fix it, told my husband how he really should not be paying for the glass he broke, complained the entire time, and it is still not fixed. The door is not properly attached and I am going to have to have someone else come out. I absolutely would not recommend Rodney to anyone, because of his rude demeanor and poor customer service and communication.

Came twice for repairs on my washer. Both times he installed a new part and it did not fix the issue. I asked him to please test it with clothes in the washer before leaving, and he refused to after a 5 minute run with no clothes both times. Out $400.

Close door of laundry room. Over all never show me the problem hand to buy new washer for the price he wanted to charge me

Rodney went above and beyond trying to fix the dryer problem! Very patient and thorough in his work ! The price was more than reasonable for the work ! I would recommend anytime!

Clothes dryer didn't work when he arrived. Paid $280 for repairs. Waited much longer than expected for parts - Rodney blamed Covid-19 lockdowns for slow parts delivery. Didn't seem confident in what he was doing. Dryer still doesn't work. Would never use again. Would never recommend. Rodney is incompetent. 100% dissatisfied!

on 5-19-2020 Rodney came out to give estimate to fix washer . estimate was approved and he ordered the motor to fix the washer . On 5-27-2020 Rodney retured toreplace motor, motor was replaced and problem still was not fixed. he stood at the washer and turned the washer on and off a few times still the same washer not draining , he did not know what the problem was but he was paid 189.25 for part and labor so conclusion was he got paid foar a job that was not completed and just picked up his tools and left contacted homadvisor on 5-27-2020 they called him and was supposed to respond back but no call . This person is not someone I would ever use . I will never use homeadvisor again as this is the second time I have been burnt on home advisor. RL cashed my ck for $189.25 and washer still does not work I sent him a ck for 100.00 for labor and told him that he was welcome to retrieve his part any time just call us so we can make sure someone is home . Bottom line is he took me gor the amount of $189.25

My microwave stopped working the other day and after some Google research, it sounded like a door switch problem. Since I hate the idea of disposable appliances, I made the decision that it would be better to get it repaired and should actually be cheaper than buying a new unit. I used Home Advisor and was contacted promptly by Rodney of R and L Appliance. He stated that a service call was $69. Sounded cheaper than a new microwave, so I made an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and promptly went to work. It was clear from the outset that he was not experienced in this GE model as he had considerable trouble removing the covers to get at the switches. After nearly an hour, it appeared the unit was fixed and Rodney confirmed it was a switch problem. Then he says the bill will be $149! Here is what the bill actually states: 1041Dianoistic Trip Fee diagnoses and trip fee will be refunded upon estimate approval1.00149.00 149.00 Service FeeService Fee 04/07/20201.004.76 4.76 So do not be fooled by the $69 service call amount. On the phone, Rodney said the $69 would go toward the repair. So $80 more to basically adjust a switch? $149 is more than the unit is worth! I wish Rodney would have provided an estimate so that I could decide whether I wanted to make that stupid deal. And what the heck is the â Service Fee on top of that? I will now know to ask a lot more questions next time and demand an estimate. And it will not be service from R and L.
