"Our first meeting started out with an untruth the lead said it was an emergency when I called and asked about the emergency Barb said no emergency I just wanted someone to call TODAY. The problem was the door bell we set an appoint for 10 days out for an estimate ( not an emergency) and that she had other work also. The door bell button had been replaced before and she said it never worked right. The button wire was not secure I tested it the bell does not work. I gave her the option then replace the bell or replace the whole thing, but that there is a transformer if it goes bad you will need to replace the whole thing again could never go bad it could go bad in a day week month never. She chose replace the bell. Now we did plenty of other work and she was happy with all of it. She says it went bad in 2 days I have been back to her house 3 times trying to first repair a garage door opener that turned into a replace a garage door opener this happened well over a 3 week period when I show up I ring the door bell she answers the door??? 2 days untruth. She did have trouble getting InTouch with me through the HOME Advisor App which I was having trouble with the trouble was a customer would text me I would reply and then I would get the same message a second time on a different date. I asked her not to use the app please text me direct through her carrier. She would never reply to my text through my carrier only through the app. well the app was turned off for 2 weeks and I never got a message from her. I have also not said anything about never being able to return to the job the next day or giving her dates a week out that do not work for her she was going away I gave her dates again when she came back on voice mail no reply I got busy my time was booked. The first I herd about the door bell was when I called her about this complaint. She should have told me when she answered the door bell when I came back a few weeks after doing her punch list of work including the door bell if she had told me then I would have figured out the problem that day because the reason I came I could not do the work there were missing parts in what I was working on that she supplied I had nothing else scheduled for the day I would have done it then. O Yea but it was working because she answered the door bell when I came there. I understand working under a budget I work with customers all the time."

"I understand Marjorie's position she paid to have leaks under the sink repaired and she still has a leak. The problem is nothing is leaking under the sink it is caused by the faucet. This job had a case of bad plumbing under the sink 3 leaks in an extensive 2 sink pipe set up. I redid the pipes and they do not leak then I found the water lines to the faucet were leaking so I tightened them up. I did my leak inspection by running water and no leaks. A week later I get a call there is a leak I come back run water for half an hour nothing I play with the faucet and sprayer nothing finally I see a leak from the faucet but I cant get it to repeat itself. I told her that this is an additional cost that I can repair it or replace it I suggest replace. I told her I would send her pricing in a few days. 2 days after I was there last she sent me an email asking what should be done November 7 I replied that day and never herd anything until this complaint November 11. She got what she paid for and more I went above and beyond making sure that plumbing did not leak. All my paper work say under sink leak because if it is a faucet that is extra."

"I was never informed there was a problem with the windows or the caulk until I read this review. I use OSI window and door caulk considered one of the better brands of caulk. I did so much more work around this house besides just caulking the windows. I power washed the entire house, repaired siding around the house in different places, put a new roof on the shed and repaired the front porch. The windows needed to be caulked because they leaked from the time they were installed I was told and she was very upset about that. We agreed that the first step was to caulk the windows and then wait for a few storms to see if anything more needed to be done as water leaks are hard to find. I never heard anything more about the job so I figured everything was good. I understand another contractor coming in and saying the caulk is bad I would start at that point myself, you have to in order to solve a water leak around a window. I am very sorry she feels this way. I just wish I had been given the chance to finish the job."
