Ron came highly recommended by my sister who had repair of a shed when a tree fell on it. We used him to repair a sagging foundation on our very old circa 1900 house and replaced railings last year and the work was great, so when the upstairs A/C caused water damage down through the ceiling and walls, he was our first call. Ron is very detail-oriented, respectful and reliable/prompt. We already have a few other projects tentatively lined up for the near future.

Met Ron when I need someone to repair a deck fire. He was the first one of 4 (3 from Home Advisor, 1 local) to respond to my request for an estimate and of the estimates I received, turned out to be the most reasonable. He restored the deck to it former condition within a couple days and fixed some lingering problems I had out there as well. I was so impressed I hired him to do a kitchen / great room remodel as well. Because it is an old house, it had its fair amount of surprises and issues (2 floors under the tile + a 6" base of cement with cracking / deterioration - all of which had to be removed. Ron worked with me over a couple months as I wasn't budgeting for the additional expense. Here we are 5 months later and the results are amazing. We went from a 1970's something kitchen / great room / family room to a 2017 top end modern home - new floors, baseboards, paint, cabinets, quartz, lighting, interior custom doors / handles, storm door, stainless appliances, floating TV and furniture. The improvements are amazing - Ron has given this little shore condo a new life. He will be back in the fall to install new deck doors and a kitchen pass thru window to the BBQ area outside. Overall, Ron is there when he says he will be, his work is above satisfactory quality and his estimates are very reasonable / honest (there was an charge for materials he didn't end up needing and he came to me to give me the money back). I have before and after pictures I had hoped to post - I have to figure out how to get them on this site as they will show everyone how involved this project was and the beautiful result and most importantly, that Ron / RMB Construction is an excellent choice for your home improvements and repair.

Arrived timely & work done well.

Seemed knowledgeable. However, Ron kept adding things to the bill (close to an additional $1000!!) that should have already been included. He also went on vacation after I paid him half of the agreed total. If I had known he would disappear for a week here and a week there, I would have hired someone else. Did not do anywhere near a decent job cleaning up. Left insulation and pieces of scrap all over the house and backyard. We fired him before he could finish. The only good thing I can say is that he did give a little bit of money back for the work he did.

The reason for the 4.5 rating about the quality of the work, only time will tell.
