I do not recommend this company. I paid in full over 40K for a large residential job over a year ago and the quality of work was extremely poor. They took multiple shortcuts and simply just put the asphalt down without any preparation of the driveway. I arrived home from work as the job was being completed and saw the owner steamrolling fresh asphalt literally over standing water. No base was prepared and no grading for drainage was performed. Now I have a 1 year old thin driveway with cracks, holes and pooling water every time it rains or snows. I was promised that the work would be done professionally and am extremely disappointed. I have been patient and given them many opportunities to make it right. I reached out countless times over the last year and was promised that theyâ ll be out to repair and fix the work. No one ever shows up. Spend your hard earned money with another asphalt company.

RNH came early afternoon and did a very careful job of sealing my driveway after filling cracks. Unfortunately a heavy rain occurred later in the day and washed away areas of sealant as well as splattering onto an adjacent slump block wall. I called the next morning and RNH graciously offered to recoat the driveway as well as have someone come to clean the wall. The next day the wall was cleaned and not long after my driveway was completely recoated, again very carefully. I am very grateful to have found a company that not only does careful work at a fair price but that honors their word to "make it right" even when the problem was not due to their materials or workmanship.

I was planning on sealing my driveway myself. I did my homework and realized it was beyond my abilities (I have a long driveway). Henry from RNH assessed my needs and made an offer that was very attractive. They started the project late on Saturday afternoon. The crew worked until it was too dark to see. They were almost finished so I approved their return on Monday. It was around noon Roger and Jay returned to do the detail work. They educated me on possible future issues and completed their work. I couldn't be more pleased with RNH's service and integrity.

Roger and his crew of RNH Asphalt installed a jaw-dropping asphalt driveway that includes a roundabout. I m absolutely thrilled with the result and impressed with the incredible speed of the installation and the resulting quality (especially the grade as the property is sloped at different angles!). My neighbors cannot stop talking about it (one called me as he parked his car in front of it on the way to his house!) and another asked for the name of the contractor as they are wanting to repair or replace theirs. The crew worked tirelessly into the evening after completing a prior project in the area and even repaired an unfortunate flat on one of the machines prior to my project (most contractors would have scheduled for a later date). I will definitely use RNH Asphalt for my future projects and highly recommend their services.

From start to finish, everything was great. All of the workers and the owner were fantastic and really down to earth. They did a wonderful job and did it quickly. They went above and beyond to help us clear out and transport all of the gravel. We couldn t have hoped for a better experience! So glad we were able to come across them. They were extremely reasonable with the cost as well, and gave us a fantastic deal which allowed us to be able to get it done during this hectic time. Thank you all for being so wonderful. Driveway paving job. The paving crew arrived at about 3 PM. Before the job was started, I suggested that if the work could not be finished before dark, that the job would have to be completed the next day. That suggestion was ignored. A lot of the problems occurred due to the crew having to work in the dark without adequate lighting. The front driveway was fairly good but the back driveway which was done in the dark was terrible. Numerous areas and edges were not well compacted, which allows water to seep underneath and make mud. The mud freezes and buckles the asphalt. The area next to the garage apron was supposed to be excavated 2 to 3 inches deep. It was only about 1 inch and the asphalt was mounded up above the apron which caused water to run into the garage. The edges of the driveway were very thin which allowed them to break off very easily. The asphalt was supposed to be 2 inches thick all over, however, in places, it was less than 1 inch and not well compacted. It was so loose that I could sweep it up with a broom! Since it was dark when the job was completed I could not see how bad it was. If I had seen the poor quality of the driveway I would not have paid for it. I was promised repairs that would meet my expectations. Before the repairs were done, I dug up the defective paving and found that the underlying soil had not been well graded, and had high and low areas which caused large variations in the paving thickness. I leveled the base and compacted it myself. 6 weeks after the original job the crew returned to do the repairs. They filled the areas that I had removed and repaved the entire driveway, which now looks quite good. They repaved the bottom third of the front driveway which also looks good. However, the upper 2 thirds have several unsightly patches and had areas of loose gravel which I had to compact by hand. I hired this company because they had a lot of good reviews, but I was quite disappointed in the job they did. A little after a year later parts of the driveway are basically turning into loose gravel.
