"We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to give us feedback and would like to respond to your service issues. Although we regret that you feel as if you didnt get the quality service you most certainly deserve, we did try our best. We know that customer complaints need to be addressed immediately and want to offer an explanation to your concerns. We also made a follow up phone call to you in order to give you the attention you deserve as our customer to reiterate these issues. 1. The overflow pipe cut size seems to be a misunderstanding and we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to this. The piping we have is in various sizes and at the end of the job, that's when we cut the piping to meet the 6 in code you spoke of. The installer recalls you questioning it and he clarified at the time that he still needed to cut the pipe to size. 2. In the case of the water temperature, we had set your thermostat setting on low because in your initial request for services, you stated this is and investment property that is currently under re-renovation and not occupied. In leaving the unit at 120 degrees, it would have unnecessarily incurred additional charges on your utility bill. When you brought the water temperature concern to us after the installation was completed, we explained in an email the setting we left on the unit was low due to it being an unoccupied property and that the thermostat could be adjusted to your comfort. We apologized previously and would like to apologize again for this inconvenience. Again, the building was unoccupied and we didnt want you to incur any unnecessary utility charges for heating water that would not be used. 3. In reference to the stairs, you were present when the installer slid down the entire staircase due to the first step collapsing due to rot. The condition of the stairs should have been disclosed before the installer began the job in order to ensure everyone's safety while carrying the unit. In this case even due to the circumstances he still completed the installation without any type of resistance. In this particular instance we are grateful that he or others present did not sustain any serious injury due to the condition of the stairs. Again we are sorry that you felt that the care you received was unsatisfactory from our company. We thank you for acknowledging our pricing and giving us an opportunity to respond to your concerns.
