Landscape Minor Grading or Resloping Service
great follow thru by Matt after first contact.
excellent timely, neat work exactly as discussed
workers were helpful and everyone was knowledgeable
Matt and his crew have our vote and out praise. they took out some old bushes, did grading around condo, put in strong edging, mulch and stone to the specs of the association and to us.
it was truly an A plus job and they have my vote and my recommendation ANYTIME. I wish there were more contractors with their ethics, skill
There was no skimping on the job and it was a pleasure to work with them.

I am so sorry I ever hired him
Response from RPM Excavation, LLC
"Unfortunately I?ve been having some issues this year that have never been an issue before in regards to the quality of one of my suppliers screened top soil that I purchased for this job and they will not give back the money and so I stopped using them. We seeded this certain work area 3 different levels of the top soil work areas upon her request. The customer doesn?t want us back to try to fix the issue? She think we did this on purpose and couldn?t be farther from the truth!"

RPM did an excellent job leveling my lawn. I especially appreciated Matt’s communication throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way and even followed up afterward to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work. It’s refreshing to work with a company that takes pride in both the quality of their work and their customer service. I highly recommend them.

Landscape Minor Grading or Resloping Service
I highly recommend Matt and his crew. They did an outstanding job removing my trees and pulling out my shrubs. They showed up on time, worked hard from start to finish, and didn't waste any time. Everything Matt promised was done exactly as he said it would be, and the cleanup afterward was excellent. It's hard to find contractors who are honest, reliable, and take pride in their work, but Matt and his team definitely do. If you're looking for someone who does quality work at a fair price and stands behind what they say, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Thank you, Matt, for a job well done!

Nice people but horrible job. My ground turned to complete clay also. Not sure what they used but it definitely wasn't topsoil. Their seed never grew, even after watering it twice a day for a month. Instead it's all crabgrass which I never had. They redid it twice but to no prevail. I have spent a lot of money on products and water to fix this, but still the same. Except for the non-grass, they did a good job on burying 2 downspouts to an emitter, waterproofing the side of the house, then putting nice rocks over it.

Hired RPM to install a new septic field bed. On the last day of the job I paid $1200.00 for 25 yds of top soil to be spread over the field bed and the surrounding area and cover the area with straw. This was in November. I was not there that day. Come spring the soil turned out to be clay. Grass won?t grow in clay. Tried for 3 months to get them to fix the problem and they won?t come over or answer my calls. I now hired another contractor to finish the job. I will now file a small claims case against Matt from RPM. I made the mistake of paying him in full before the job was done. Digging deeper in the reviews showed he has done this to a number of people in the past. So, beware who you hire.
Response from RPM Excavation, LLC
"The additional top soil brought in top coat work areas that were damaged by the machine work (at my cost for materials and delivery and didn?t charge additional for machine work or labor) he claims was clay. My supplier says he?s wrong and would not give me my money back so I could go be back to him. Mind you I gave this gentleman the best price out of all the other estimates after I dropped my original price considerably to help him out. I will get his money back from me but is a control freak!"

The workers were less than ambitious, and they needed motivation and they needed more supervision to get the job done, they didn't clean the place up as well as I would like to. Though, job got done.

My backyard was flooding into my house and causing my basement to have minor leaks.
My backyard needed to be graded/leveled. I also needed some window wells installed to shield the block windows.
They also added stone and edging in a few spots.
RPM Excavation was responsive and provided high quality service.
I recommend RPM Excavation for people needing exterior solutions for their home.

RPM Excavation, LLC, graded and incorporated additional soil into both backyard and front yard areas where deep ruts had ruined the integrity of the lawn which could no longer be mowed properly. After distributing good topsoil, they seeded the area and covered it with straw. They also installed a drainage pop-up to take care of the overflow water from the gutters. They did a great job. Looks good.

Landscape Minor Grading or Resloping Service
Job was to install a replacement underground drain pipe from a high-roof-gutter downspout to a location about 20-feet down-slope from my foundation. Matt (owner) was pleasant, responsive, on-time, easily accommodated schedule and weather issues, and, once scheduled, actually completed the job early. His crew were very nice young men, and easy to work with. They restored the affected ground area and thoroughly cleaned up. A great job!
