R & R Drywall

Ralph ran off with the deposit. Never showed up to do the work. Beware of this company. Quick to come take the deposit but excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't show up. Chased for 2 months, eventually just did the drywall myself. After further digging, it seems these people use different names and write some of their own 5 star reviews across the web and then get shitty with honest reviewers that had similar experiences as me and others. When I confronted him after 2 months needing my deposit back or I'd take it to small claims, his response was "good luck they only deal with claim amounts over 1200". Super great people.

Do not hire this company. I had to terminate the agreement 5 hours into hanging the drywall. Not sure if much of the hung drywall is salvageable, cuts and measurements look like a toddler did them. I should have known what was going to happen, I had to buy the supplies and was asked for payment during first day.

We started out trying to hire Rick on January 10, 2022 to repair our ceiling due to water damage. He didn't actually begin work until Tuesday, February 8. due to a variety of issues. One was weather, but the others were due to his delays. While he occasionally kept me up to date on his schedule, i usually had to prompt him as to what was going on. I had sent him pictures of our swirl patterned ceiling and told him that we needed him to match the swirl. He assured me that he was very good at matching texture. i looked at his reviews online and decided to hire him. I regret that i did. While he said he could match the texture, he did not match it at all. The texture is a swirl fan pattern. His sorry attempt looked awful. The swirls didn't match at all and there were areas that were completely smooth. We asked him to redo it. The result was even worse. Huge smooth areas and the swirls were haphazard. After this 2nd attempt, we told him we no longer wanted him to complete the job. I'm glad we did. He had started to tape the walls as he was also going to paint the ceiling. Since he had left for the day we looked at the taping he did. He used masking tape instead of painters tape and it was completely uneven. If he had painted the ceiling, it would have looked incredibly messy with some of the paint getting on the walls. He also left splatters of drywall compound all over furniture and floor even though he said he covered everything. I would not recommend him and as another review wrote, I wish I could post the pictures we have of his unprofessional work. We did pay him for 1/3 of the total cost, which we were not obligated to do since we need to have it redone by someone else.

Contacted home advisors for my repairs. Sent Rick pictures. He came out. patched and matched the swirls in my textured ceiling that was water damaged. repainted it. looks great. Very nice to work with. Cleans up his work. I already have referred him to others

Friendly service, clean

Rick came out to my house to retextured a small area of my ceiling. Rick did a good job however the color of my ceiling is almond color and the repair was a off white color it did not blend.

Just can't say enough . Rick was great and did an amazing job. will recommend him to all my friends and family. I will use him in the future if I can.

R&R drywall was awesome Rick came in under budget, on time, professional and friendly. his work is top notch and looks great I would most defiantly recommend him and I will use his service again if the need ever arises

R&R drywall is great! Rick was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and his price was very reasonable for the project...everything you would expect when you hire a pro. If you have a drywall or painting project I would highly recommend using Rick and R&R drywall.

Rick's work was top notch. I could tell he cared about how the repair would go and if it wasn't perfect, or to his satisfaction, he would not stop until it was! Rick was the first ever contractor to call me back if/when he would be running a little late. He even took the time and care to be mindful of the mess he was making and he cleaned up! I honestly wish I had more project for him!! I am recommending him to everyone/anyone I know that needs plaster/drywall repair.

R and R was just what I needed. We had a flood in our 2nd floor bathroom which caused drywall and ceiling damage on the first floor ceiling below in our living room. I discussed the situation over the phone and sent some photos. Mr R R came out the following day and we scheduled the work. We originally estimated the job would take two days due to allow time for drying of patch materials but he was able to finish the job in less than one day. The area where the damage in the ceiling occurred looks just fine.

Some initial communication problems, but after that everything was fine. Patched a hole in the ceiling and did a very good job.

Rick was exceptional. He was very polite, respectful, and a very detailed worker. He is very skilled and did an excellent job doing exactly what I wanted. He patched a hole in the garage and was able to match the texture exactly. He also scraped off ugly popcorn texture on my bathroom ceiling and re-textured to exactly what I want. After such an amazing job, I would like to hire him to texture the ceilings in the rest of my house. He did a great job cleaning up after the job was complete. I was very pleased with the final outcome and the price was very reasonable. I have more repair that needs to be done and I will definitely hire Rick again in the near future to patch another hole and to add texture to my smooth ceilings.
