Awesome experience

We after 10yrs in our home we had our floors refinished by a very substandard company, which by the way redid the job twice and could not repair their own mistakes. R & R came out and was not only very knowledgable but brought our floors back to a finish that exceeded the original finish. We couldn't be happier!!!!

R&R is incredibly flexible and does top quality work. Overall value and professionalism is top notch. Their response time and communication was far better than anyone I contacted. They did everything they could to make sure we had our floors refinished in a timely manner including working a holiday. Already have recommended them to a family member and would use them again.

Let me start this review by saying if you need new flooring or flooring refinished at your home or business look no further than R and R hardwood floors. Our home is approximately 2600 square feet with hardwood flooring on the first level and mixed flooring (hardwood/engineered product) on the second level. The floors and stairs throughout our home did not match and honestly just looked awful. The second floor was a mess and the staircase was not any better. We had R and R sand and stain the original first level flooring. The second level was completely replaced with new hardwood and stained as well. The staircase got new treads and risers. We could not be happier with the results. Not only do the floors and stairs look great but the consistency and continuity are perfect. The first and second levels appear as though they were installed at the same time. The staircase looks amazing and exceeded my expectations. Don is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. His attention to detail is exceptional and he treated our project as if he was working on his own home. No matter what your flooring project needs may be, I am confident R and R can handle the job.

Hired R & R to refinish our hardwood floors. There was a spot that needed repair. When Don pulled up the first couple of boards to make the repair, he noted termite damage. He assessed the damage, worked with an exterminator to stop the problem and worked with me to fix the problem. The two guys did a great job of doing what was necessary to fix it without going overboard. It was great to work with craftsmen who want to do the job right but not take advantage of the situation. With repaired joists, subfloor and new hardwood, the floors look great and I think the price was very fair.

Don and Jim did an excellent job repairing and refinishing our entire downstairs hardwood floors in our almost 80-year-old home. The floors were covered with carpet for many years, one room had previously been damaged by termites and repaired using plywood. They removed the plywood and installed new wood perfectly that you couldn't tell a repair was done. They came up with the exact color stain we wanted and we couldn't be more pleased with the finish. We highly recommend and would use them again.

Good work. Done well. Arrived as scheduled and completed as scheduled. A gentleman. 1 problem, Liability Insurance is fine for private homeowner work but lacks Workman's Compensation Insurance required for Builder work

Don showed up at my house t5he exact time he said he would be there. He explained to me all that would be done and was a real pro. John and Jim did an excellent job on my steps and bedrooms. I plan on bringing them back for my downstairs as soon as the weather turns more spring like.

Initially hired to refinish hardwood flooring that had been covered by carpeting for many years. After sanding all of the stuck on carpet padding, the flooring was in very bad shape and highly recommended not refinishing. I decided to install new hardwood flooring, stain and finish with Don. Very professional, great communication and the floors look incredible. Lots of compliments from the other contractors working on the house as well.

Received prompt contact and quote from R&R. Was able to schedule the project for the following week. The crew showed up at the scheduled times and did a fantastic job with my 85 year old pine floors. Would recommend to anyone!

I was impressed from the very start when my call was promptly returned and an estimate was scheduled and completed the next day. I also liked the fact that Dom personally completes the estimate as well as the work. Too many times the person that comes out to complete the estimate has no idea of what the actual process is and is able to answer questions. Dom and his partner did a fantastic job refinishing/restaining all the existing hardwood and installing new oak floors in the rest of the house. Excluding the marble entryway, we had all the floors redone. This review is a little late (sorry Dom) but we got a little lost in the whirlwind that comes with purchasing a new home and remodeling. I am extremely selective (picky?) and wanted a floor that was dark but not so dark that it made the house feel gloomy and cramped, but also not too light. I also wanted all the hardwood to match and that meant I had to use red oak for the new floor installation since I did not want to rip out the existing ones as they were in good condition. My main concern and reason for refinishing the existing floor was because it leaned orange and I was worried the red oak would accentuate that even when stained. Dom was extremely patient and knowledgable as I had him swatch stains all through out the house to see it in different lightings. I ended up settling on a mix of 2 colors and it's perfect! It's dark but not so dark it shows every speck of dirt and is ever so slightly warm so the house feels cozy. It's also extremely durable. The quality of the work is exceptional and even the walk in closets I had new floors installed in looks amazing. They didn't take any shortcuts and didn't just install the wood around the custom closet built ins but took the time to move it (not an easy job) but as my husband was still out of state with the military it was not a task I could have done on my own. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

The floors were old and in bad condition, but they did a spectacular job and now they are gorgeous.

Easy to work with. He was able to give me a free estimate quickly. Once I decided to hire him he was able to give me a date within two weeks. I did feel that he tried to talk me out of replacing a few boards that were damaged. He told me they would not even be noticeable once refinished. Now almost a year later I wish I would have replaced them because it is an eye sore. But overall quality was fabulous.

I would absolutely hire them again! We had our oak floors refinished and some minor repairs done. They were very courteous and on time. They delivered all we expected and more. We love the final floors. They look great!

Don was great, responded right away to my email, was prompt on giving an estimate and completed the work while we were away on vacation which was a concern at first to not be there to oversee the work but Don sent us photos of work in progress and we were very glad with the way the floors looked. would HIGHLY recommend, very trustworthy and does great work

My hardwood floors were refinished. I felt that R & R did not do their homework. Called for estimate and received quote but they didn't ask any questions except dimensions of the room. I had other hardwood flooring refinished in my home a few years ago and they had used an oil base product and R & R uses a water base product. I would have known this if they took the time to visit my home before the project was scheduled. This resulted in a different look when finished. He would have used an oil base product but the cost would have been more and taken another day to finish. Not a decision you want to make "on the spot" Make sure you know all about the job you want done or you might be disappointed.

Don helped us correct some serious issues caused by the previous floor refinisher. He and his partner were prompt, neat and courteous, and really worked hard to expedite our project. Our floors look great!
