This company scammed me out of $2250! I was told by Tony that they did wrought iron railings. I gave my deposit and after 14 weeks of nothing but sorry excuses, lies and frustration, I finally asked for my deposit to be returned to me. I had to hire another wrought iron company to fabricate my railings. I am a 70-year-old woman and a widow and this company played on that. I was deceived and lied to and have not received any of my deposit back! Yet again, more lies and excuses. I would highly recommend using any other company but this one! The Best Countertops has left me absolutely and completely frustrated and angry. I will be filing a formal judgment against this company with the Jefferson County Courts here in Golden, CO. Really just bad!

Tony is an incredibly nice guy, I will start with that. We wish our experience working with him and his company went better but it was a major letdown from the beginning when it came to professionalism and workmanship. He did accept our feedback at the end and acknowledged mistakes made, which we appreciated a lot. If you go with these guys make sure you ask lots of questions, have a clear contract, and express clear expectations with them from the beginning.

We had some substandard issues with our cabinets which was easy to see once the old countertops were off. The new countertops were installed without bringing that to our attention which created problems. They had to come back and take the countertops off, after some heated discussion, and we had to have our cabinets augmented before the countertops could be re-installed. When a contractor runs into problems I expect to be notified about them so they can be corrected before work continues. There was also a chip on the quartz edge which we were told could not be repaired and that it was a manufacturer defect. I do not know why we were brought a defective material, we were only offered a warranty in case it cracked.
