We hired RSC to build our pole barn style garage in March of 2021 with an estimated completion date of May-June 2021. The garage was completed in October 2022, 14 months past the completion date. We would go weeks at a time with no work being completed on the garage, this lack of work for extended periods of time was a common occurrence. The longest period was 5 weeks with no work being done and no communication. Some of the excuses given to us for the delays include: a vacation with his wife, a flat tire on the trailer, all equipment stolen out of trailer, prepping job sites for upcoming projects, dads surgery and recovery period, heat system in wifes greenhouse went out, conference and training seminars, needing a new blade for the skill saw. We rarely received communication from Shawn letting us know dates he provided to us to segments of work being done were not going to be met. When he told us he would work on our garage on a certain day, and that day came and went with no work being done, this happened countless times. We would have to follow up with him and he would give us new dates that rarely were met either, leaving us to continue to chase him to get any progress. The continued delays caused our homeowners insurance to threaten to cancel our coverage. The concrete he poured both as replacement for our existing patio and the slab for our garage, both cracked and we were told there is nothing he can do about it. All in all it was an extremely frustrating experience that I would not wish to repeat.

Initially showed up for the appointment, but never followed through with the bid and did provide an option to pursue his services. Never called back after the first appointment.

I hired RSC Buildings to install steel roofing panels and trim on my garage - in December - in Iowa. There were a few days of weather delays, like +12 F. high temps and rain that turned into freezing rain then 6 inches of snow. But they kept to our agreed cost didn't cut corners and paid attention to details. I was impressed with their work and the looks of the building. Then I learned that they are not a one trick pony. They do house remodels of every size so I plan to be a customer in the future.

RSC Buildings came to work on our house for complete house renovation. They gave very detailed estimate and held to pricing on contract. Work was top quality and very detailed on all phases of the project.

Our job was an emergency situation. Did the job quickly for us.
