RS General Contracting

I used this contractor to repair some roof tiles on my craftsman. Firstly, they subcontracted the work out to another business, which I was not impressed with. Then the quality of work was bad. When replacing the section of roof tiles they used screws that were too long, which means they went straight through the roofing awnings on the side of the house, so now all you see when you look up is hundred of black screws coming through the underside of the roof. It s ugly, bad quality and I m disappointed. Then it gets better. It took me close to 3 months to chase getting a receipt of payment from them. Something suspect is going on and I regret using them.

Disappointed in workmanship and follow through, and now lack of communication. Angelo was initially personable and answered my request right away. The estimate was great and he seemed knowledgeable. After the first visit the leak was not fixed in fact, rather than slowly dripping, it was worse. RS contracting responded relatively quickly and through they could not come right away - they did follow through. They did say they would need to buy more shingles and asked what type we had. It did take awhile, but they did return and fixed the leak. One guy seemed to do all the work with 1-2 supervisors on the ground. When work was completed, Angelo warned us that it did not look like the shingles that we were told we had on our roof matched; that as roof professionals they should have noticed, so 'it didn't look so good'. Understatement. We told him the work was not acceptable, tar was on the siding, a flashing under a window was not one piece but several, not lined up .with tar on top and the shingles in fact did not match and looked like we had been hit by a windstorm. He said he would see what he could do. He came back later that evening and said his job was on the line and that we needed to pay for more shingles and labor. We said we did not agree on paying for the labor and he said he would see what he could work out. We have not heard or seen him since. I gave him the opportunity to respond prior to posting this, I wish I could post photos of the work so viewers could judge for themselves if they would use this outfit. I am sorry to have to make negative statements about a nice person but not following through on an agreement has consequences.

I had a leaky roof. They came out the next day to give an estimate and on the same day they were able to get a team out to fix it.

We had an emergency leaky roof and RS came by to asses the situation right away. Fixed it the very next day. Very happy with the work and it s guaranteed so peace of mind as well.

RS General Contracting saved us with a leaking roof emergency. They inspected the leak, clearly explained the damage and were able to start on a fix immediately. Additional damage was discovered mid-way through the repair work, and they stayed into the evening to make sure everything was repaired and stable. Everyone was respectful and friendly, and we are grateful for their help.

Excellent service! They did the job right away and our roof is super clean!

Fixed the leaks in my roof in a timely manner and kept the price in a range I could swing. The guy who talked to me was also pretty good about explaining everything in an easy to digest fashion, which is definitely a perk.

Sonny and Angelo responded immediately with a rough quote on the phone. Later that day they visited our business providing an update quote for painting stripes and reserved sings in our parking lot. They suggested that the work happen on the weekend, avoiding disruption during business hours. After the initial work was completed, just a few days later, we asked for more painting, no parking and do not block . The pressure washing of our parking lot, from the original bid, was not done, due to cold weather not allowing enough drying time. RS General Contracting had the new stencil made and painted the additional signs in trade for the pressure washing. Quick work, very responsive and friendly staff!

The crew did a thorough jo and were good at explaining repairs needed.

Quick and reliable service. Jeff and his team were out the next day after my submission and cleaned the moss off my siding in about two hours.

They did not show up during the appointment time. I had to call to ask. Finally, two technicians arrived 2 hours late. Charged $2,350 for repairing 3 leakages. They did not show pictures of the roof before or after repair. Not sure the quality of work. I will not use it again.

RS was very responsive and solved my roof problem. They kept me informed of their progress and finished the job in record time. I would gladly use them again.
