Security or Storm Shutters - Install
Took my deposit in July 2018 and then didnt perform the service (a hurricane shutter). Ive asked for the return of the deposit (as he promised hed do) but has failed to do it. Told me in August hed been hurt and couldnt work for about 2 weeks but he never rescheduled installation. Its now been 7 months; I started asking for my deposit back months ago and hes simply ignoring me. Dont trust this guy! As far as the star rating system, I tried to give him no stars, but the site required me to give a minimal 1/2 star.

Hard working crew and timely completion of work. I hired them to finish a herringbone tile floor I started. Price was very reasonable and work was completed on schedule. They even cleaned the floors professionally once installation was complete. All around professional handyman that stands by his word.

Tom called me right away and showed up ahead of time for the appointment we had set up for the next day. He gave me an estimate on the spot for the tile installation around the bathtub and he started the job the same day. He sort of finished the job within a few days. Although I gave him a good review in the beginning, after I took a closer look at his completed job I noticed that the tiles had not been installed properly. Not only they were not flush with each other but the gaps between them were unequal as if he didn't use spacers. The worst of it showed around the window where he had left a half to three quarter inch space between them. I called Tom back and asked him for the reason. He replied that the tiles "shifted". I asked him to redo at least the area around the window, which he started to do but he never finished. I sent him messages to come to finish it but in he end he blamed me for his getting hurt doing it and being behind on his other jobs. I also asked him to refund me some money to hire somebody to finish his job. It's getting close to three months since he started the job he never finished. I will not hire him for any other projects.
